As he said in ep 10 - even HJ being in danger because of him is not gonna stop him from being with her. Also in ep 8 he said that if he ever disappears, she should wait for him to contact her. He'll come back for sure, he just needs to sulk for a while.

The more I think about it the more I wish we got angst^2 in ep 11. Like HJ being kidnapped for 2 years and BSE spending all that time desperately searching. Right now i just feel we got the same thing all over again 😭 I wanted him to run when he saw her, but he walked so slow, like dude, hurry up!

I don't wanna complain, but at this point I just feel like I run out of angst in my body 😅 let me give a recap:

Yeah, mainly talking about rBSE and his mom. I get that he's deranged, but what is she thinking... if she wants to torture every descendant of the chairman, she should start from her husband

I can't say I'm content with this episode... it's kinda a filler, nothing we haven't seen before... i was waiting for EMOTIONS, but everything was kinda tame

Yes, I wanted to praise everyone as well. There are so many good souls here who spent a lot of time answering questions asked by people confused by the mystery! And also when people came to criticise the drama, the discussions were mostly really civil and understanding, not just "you're a hater, get out of here". It was such a nice experience watching the drama with you guys!

I feel that MBC dramas this year have all been a surprise for me, I didn't see them coming at all 😅 But I wonder why Lovely Runner didn't get promotion from tvn, I mean just a few months after that we were literally flooded with QOT content...

I'd say that Lovely Runner was a major hit in the kdrama watchers community, and especially in Asia. But due to it not being on a bigger platform while it aired (with other content than just asian dramas), like you said, I guess it didn't reach as many international customers who are warching kdramas more casually. But I also find it really hard to say why they became such major hits haha. In case of WTPR, I haven't seen a thriller romance in a long time, so I think a lot of people missed it as well and tuned in. But Lovely Runner is a really interesting case and I still can't quite grasp what made it such a phenomenon. I feel that the fantastic roles from main male actors made an incredible amount of buzz for both dramas tho.
