Anyway, they dub this drama into my mother tongue.

I am not sure if I had watched it in my country. The drama is kinda heavy with prostitution theme. That's not favorable drama theme for our tv channel.

Arhhh me too! I grew up watching Taiwanese and Dorama. I watched this in the afternoon after school. I The channel even re broadcast it because the drama has fantastic plot. Ok, more like very well written in the right time. Nowadays I can find tons of dramas with similar ideas (long lost twin) but they are usually cringe.

I think the author writes this novel to be a wuxia, brotherhood/bromance novel. Romance is a minor part.
But in the drama, they emphasis the romance part.

I only explained what happened in version 1997.
I must say the whole drama is kinda tragic.
So, through the journey ML find a sweetheart. FL also loves him. But reality is harsh.
In other hand. There is SFL who is obsessed with ML. By hook or crook she tries to win ML. But alas, ML only treats her as younger sister since he had his eyes on FL.
And there is a man, not worth mentioned as SML or third ML. Let's say 4th ML. Lol. He also has a crush towards SFL. His love is unconditionally. When SFL lost her sight due to incident related to ML, he without hesitant dig his eyes and
Give them to SFL. Too bad, SFL feels disgusted by 4th ML action. She detest ultimately the fact that 4th ML loves her.
So, when she learns that he donated his eyes for her, she digs it and throw them to the blind 4th ML. Again, he died while try saving SFL.
I forgot whether SFL died due to commited suicide or died in behalf of ML. Towards the end of eps, she witnessed that ML truly loves FL. Along the drama, she keeps denying the reality. It left her
heartbroken.
Fyi, I keep watching this drama only to see viciousness of SFL. Lol

I can say the drama is full of drama. But it is
still wuxia. There are a lot of fight scenes.

Anyway.. The first 2 eps is a hot mess

Another decent drama with almost zero promo

They purposely made this drama lighter, keep going with so many plotholes and random scenes, nothing serious. Illogical character like YNX only exist in a C romcom drama. Act like Mary Sue but at the same time is Damsel in Distress. Well, there are many pretty decent characters in C romcom drama too.

I have just finished the first half of all episodes. So far, I think Season 2 is better than Season 1. I don't say the season 1 is bad. They are great, but S2 is even greater. There is significant improvement of this saga in S2.
