I watched some videos of wrapped C-dramas, they usually spent 2 years in pre-production before principal photography. I considered that they already finished the script before moving to actual pre-production (which consisted of research, hunting filming location, casting, preparing the setting and props, costumes etc.). Because of lots of preparation beforehand, the filming process didn't take long. Taking one to three months shan't hurt. Sometimes, some shows took longer than usual because they wanted to capture more realistic pictures—for example, the scenery of four seasons. I know it's OOT, but the Japanese movie The Lightning Tree (2010) had real snow and cherry blossoms. By the way, I doubt C drama maker will take a year to film their shows. They must meet the demand. After filming and post production, the drama must go through a censor board to get a license to air, and probably re-edit (if needed). Review by the censor board can take weeks or months I guess? From then, the decision to air will be on the platforms that bought the rights. Pray that the actors have a clean image and are not entangled in scandal during those arduous processes. Their well-being affects the destiny of the drama. We can conclude that we get to see the drama in 2-4 years after the casting list revealed.

Any news? It's almost one year after the allegation in August 2023.

I can't imagine how to write or direct this drama. It's really shopisticated one.

Wow. It is a Miracle if this drama airs in 2025. I expect it will be air in 2026.

I think Douban is similar to IMDB. Being a hit movie or commercially successful doesn't mean they will automatically get a high IMDB score. Well, I'm aware about water armies on Douban too. They exist because people rely too much on Douban scores that it can divert people's POV about the shows.

In my opinion, at one glance, we can tell that he is the mastermind of the relief fund embezzlement case and the one who made false accusations against XMC's father. Throughout the drama, we ought to know how he did that though.

Japan horror movie is back! It is less scary though.

FL and ML are in the same circle in terms of working relations. They may work together again in the future. Not necessarily as main leads tough. It's like having Gong Jun working with Yang Mi or her fellow actress from the same company.

It is one of the most realistic crime movies. It's no secret that those countries have been used to house shady businesses (online gambling, scamming, fraud stock/bitcoin trade etc). And they're still running. Those who were apprehended by police usually are only minor underlings. Their boss or the mastermind is 'nowhere to be found' because they are some kind of untouchable beings. Even though you don't have to be a religious man to know that any form of gambling is not good, still people seem to treat gambling as just a game. Lately, I see a phenomenon where people casually using online gambling app in a casual way. It's not a sin pouring a little money on it. But it is the start of the doom. Scientifically, the brain will try something that can stimulate the release of dopamine, repeatedly.

I hope he can cure his severe depression. No wonder he was taking drugs (even illegally). He needs intense medical and psychological treatment.

I think only HYS incident is racist discrimination. It's cringe to hear some entitled celebs overuse racist cards every time they get unpleasant treatment in a foreign land. They may take to heart the way they were treated. Ignoring the background culture of the foreign people.

Agree. I bet the photographer is an extrovert. Also, what can I say, perhaps it's the way they (Americans) talk - to melt the ice. It's not the wise move to give that incident the 'racist card'.
