Starvation was Chen Yi felt but dared not to express it. Remember way back when they were young adults, she was still in high school, MJ was already at the level where when CY came to pick her up but in the business lady's car, she got so annoyed. Then when in school some1 mentioned that if you look in the eyes of your lover just 3 seconds, the urge to kiss will emerge. At the street dinner, she wanted to experience that already. I also think LFY is off the beaten path because its romance doesn’t follow the progression viewers are accustomed to. Chen Yi and Miao Jing weren’t two strangers slowly falling in love. Their relationship was at its peak long before the story even began. The journey was never about getting them to love each other. They already did.
