Theres gonna always be a YOU in these comments
Definitely negativity. If someone compared a poet to Shakespeare, would they feel insulted? Not every comparison is negative. And you don't have to reply to something you consider "a bunch of nothing". You could've easily scrolled past my comment.

I didn't say it as a bad thing. I like Lee Honey. The Fiery Priest is one of my favorite dramas, and Lee Honey's character was a fan favorite, but there's always going to be a negative defensive person like you in these comments. Do you hate Lee Honey so much so that you think that "accusing" someone of following her footsteps is an insult to them?

The comedy in the first episode was great, but the crime part is just annoying because it was neither humorous nor made sense. It felt like bad acting/directing/scripting. Like when the female lead threw her watch and no one heard her, or when she just stood up and played the recording before leaving the area, or when she walked confidently after the confrontation, then when she heard them following her, she was so smug even when they got too close to her, but only got scared when they came for her car. Is her car more valuable than her body? I don't get it. I know that she might've thought that they wouldn't hurt a prosecutor, but passing by her to assault her car shouldn't have changed her attitude from smugness to almost peeing herself.

I understand why it feels targeted when several controversies arrive one after another, especially when the previous…
I know that it's not targeted, that's why I said "I know it's different accusers to different type of controversy but I just find the chain of controversies hilarious". I thought it "looked" or "felt" targeted even though it's not. I don't know how to convey this "empathetic hilariousness" in English, but it made sense in my native language. LOL

Only 5 episodes out of 10 were entertaining (for me), so I guess maybe a 6-episode drama would've been great. The plot spiraled at the end with some boring episodes at the start. A decent watch if you have nothing else, but I wouldn't personally recommend it.

my gosh people and their impatience. that’s a big part of the story. in the manwha it doesn’t even end with…
To be fair, it's only 10 episodes. Having 3 boring episodes means "almost half of the drama is boring". Looking at the number of episodes, one would build expectations that there would be no filler episodes. Taking a whole episode or a couple of episodes to build up for one "high octane episode" is kind of disappointing considering the number of the episodes.

ep 8 beginning is stupid. So evil S Korea sold him to evil N Korea and then we get to see some literally insane…
It was a test of loyalty. He wasn't really sold out to North Korea.
I was confused at first, but it turned out they set up a room to test his loyalty to South Korea. They wanted to see whether he would give up information about it or not. When he came out, that chief said something along the lines of "The set was so believable that even you (a North Korean) believed it was North Korea", then he bragged that he knew that he wouldn't betray them.

It's probably going to be released on the rumored scheduled time. When they say “Nothing has been finalized.”, it means that it most likely will.

P.S. I hope it's true that they decided to keep Jo Jin Woong's scenes in.

Who is SMD? I don't think anyone who took her yet cares enough about her. It would be weird to kidnap someone…
Yeah, but she looked healthy enough to pass as a bait. That's what I meant. Meaning she only had to be alive, and she was.

About it being a government agency, if they cared about law, they wouldn't have kidnapped her in the first place. They were committing an illegal act anyway, and they didn't care about following the law or morality. They kidnapped a high school student who has got nothing to do with her father's actions. That's why the two agents (who were undercover and involved in her life) were trying to help Agent Kim despite their orders. They tried to stop the head agent before he attempted to kidnap the girl, but failed. The others are just sheep who are doing what they are told without questioning it, and there are many like that in history.

Ah. They also kidnapped her. They even shot at her direction when she was behind the car. They had no concern about her safety and were only using her as bait. Also, as far as they knew, she was in the villain's house all that time. They didn't know what happened to her before that until she told them, and that was when the ahjassis arrived.

so? this drama is a 10/10
Many companies that "replaced" humans with AI went back either because it was more expensive than humans, or found out it sucked at replacing them. They only found it less expensive because it's a scene that is hard to replicate in real life, not like most of the other scenes. Also, emotions are a big part of acting, and it's not an easy job that a computer could do (in fact it's the last thing a computer could replicate). It could however cause a salary reduction for celebrities, but they would probably still get way more than what we regular folks get paid, especially since they would get fees for using their image. If you don't agree that a total replacement won't really happen, what I would say to you is "let's talk then". I don't like getting so stressed and upset about something that probably will not happen (at least in my opinion) just because I see a glimpse of a start. All I see now is that they might've saved a life with that decision.

I would prefer if they use AI instead of sacrificing a life for a scene, whether it's the actor, a stunt double, or an animal. If they started doing AI for every scene, it will be noticeable, people would stop watching, and they will eventually give up and return to using humans. In the meantime, I think that using AI occasionally to prevent danger is actually commendable. I know how many stunt doubles (and actors) were sacrificed for people to enjoy "watching it like it really happened".

with the head trauma and blood loss, why didn't SMD send Minji for immediate medical attention?
Who is SMD? I don't think anyone who took her yet cares enough about her. It would be weird to kidnap someone and take them to the hospital or offer medical help. No one cared if she died.

looking at how so many people praise this parody comedy, i feel sorry for the future of the humanity - it is like…
I think you are mistaking it for a documentary. It's just a drama. Most people suspend their brain to enjoy these kind of things after a hard day. It doesn't mean they are stupid. Do you think dramas are study materials?

I wonder if in the manhwa he also didn't kill anyone or it is a "feature" of the adaptation. If it is…
He doesn't have a license to kill. LOL
If he killed anyone, they could easily find him and put him in prison considering that his daughter would still have to go to school. He obviously doesn't want that since he wants to live with his daughter. The only time he gave up being "nice" is when he gave up that hope.

WHAT THE UNNECESSARY ROMANCE!!!Okay I know it is meant to be funny - but ewww ewww the heart fluttering scenes…
I don't get the grandma thing. He is married, and she thinks it's her grandson, so who would be romantically attracted to the other? Meanwhile his daughter is single and doesn't know it's her father, so this is definitely a better situation since in both, one party realizes it's incest.

I can’t be the only one hitting the fast-forward button, right? The first 3 episodes had me hooked, but these…
I thought only 3-4 were slower in pace. It picked up (for me) again in episode 5.

The mdl description reminds me of the Liam Neeson movie called "Taken."Anyone know if this show is modled…
No. The only similarity is that he is a father looking for his daughter. Everything else is different. The daughter isn't even "taken".
