Who is the actor playing the assassin with the black hat? He looks familiar, but I don’t see anyone in the cast…
You mean the North Korean agent? It's Kim Sung Kyu, mostly known for his role in The King of Pigs.

solid 1st 2 episodes. Is it just me or does this series feel like it would have been better if got the nextflix…
I personally like it this way. I would've spent eternity trying to finish it if all episodes were out at once. It's great so far, but there were some moments when I lost interest, and I kept going because it's only two episodes a week. I know that there are people who prefer to binge watch as a default, but I just don't have time for that anymore, and recently dramas keep coming out in volumes. It's hard to keep up with several dramas that drop as a whole and several that don't at once. I would be watching dramas the whole time, or miss out on good ones.

How many cats do you live with?
Zero. I hate cats. Random take on an opinion about a fictional drama. Maybe you should interact more with real people, that way you won't be offended for fictional characters.

It didn't take long for it to drag. This has became a chore. I think Yumi's Cells has done it better.
The main couple keeps dragging what should've been obvious to both of them, especially the male lead who seems to have already moved on from his past relationship, and knows the female lead is somewhat attracted to him (because of the scene at the stadium), but keeps playing hard to get.
The second couple couldn't save it either. A woman who kept dating a guy even when she knew it was over just because she thought he was too nerdy to cheat on her and got surprised when he actually did, and is now dating incels until she realizes the guy who is basically stalking her is the one.

Massive spoilers below that are NOT hidden behind a Spoiler Tag. MDL has quite a few Users who have loose lips…
It's hard to control it. In another platform, they used to allow any user to tag a comment as spoilers, and it will get automatically hidden with a tag, but people abused it to silence every opposing opinion. So random comments that they didn't agree with were shown as spoilers. There are two options here, either reply to the spoiler comment to let the author know, because maybe they didn't realize it's a thing, or report the comment as a spoiler. Either way, maybe reading the comments before you watch is not a good idea. I always avoid them when I watch something that is based on a webtoon, because they always spoil the ending before the drama even starts airing.

Title Reborn Rookie Spoiler
Great short makjang drama. It was entertaining from start to end. Great cast. Everyone did very well. I can't…
I'm glad the best case scenario I was rooting for happened, and that Bang Geul didn't realize it was her father until they switched back and the player fell in love with her.

The daughter-in-law f*cked herself over, she could've easily walked away from all that mess if she didn't try to kill the twin sister. The guy she is suspected of murdering is alive, now she can just return to normal life like she didn't do anything. Not even an attempted murder since it's hard to prove it, because they only got her on camera wearing the twin sister's clothes, meaning it could be brushed off as an attempt to frame her, not to kill the president because he wasn't really dead. Stupid idiot, she ruined her life even after getting a second chance.

Great short makjang drama. It was entertaining from start to end. Great cast. Everyone did very well. I can't believe I connected with the characters in such a short time. I believe this is the first drama I watched that starred Lee Jun Young or Lee Joo Myung, but it felt to me like I've always known them. I'm looking forward to their next project.

In my opinion, even though none of her intentions were malicious, i believe teachers as well as the students shouldn't…
Same. I've never even seen a female teacher do that to a female student. It's too intimate in my culture, and teachers are not supposed to be this intimate with a student, especially in their adolescence, and regardless of their gender. It would be extra weird between people of the opposite genders, but still weird for people in the same gender. You can't do anything "as long as your intention is good". You have to factor in the other person's feelings. If only intentions counted, every harasser would say their intentions were good and you wouldn't be able to argue with them.

If you think an occasional sixty hour work week in a climate controlled environment is intolerable you have been…
I think people are just different. I tried to work like that for awhile and I fell into depression, I quit, took sometime off to recharge and get my mental health back on track, then found a flexible job that I love so much. I can even work 12 hours without complaints. I realized that I'm just not fit for a job that lacks flexibility and is very controlled. I know people who left their high paying secure job to take a job with half the salary but offers more flexibility.

I think it was her personality and good intentions that made her actions feel innocent. I understand your POV.…
Yeah, I didn't mean her intentions were bad. I meant that it may make the other person uncomfortable or confused, so people don't just normally do it, and teachers especially are careful not to. At least in my culture, and that's why I'm asking. Maybe it's normal in other parts of the world. It's not just a handshake, she is doing more to a kid in his adolescence, and kids at that age can easily get confused by stuff like this, especially since she is pretty close to his age.

Title Teach You a Lesson Spoiler
HOW DID HE NOT DIE he got stabbed the same way as his wife
If we assume that they were stabbed in the same area and had the same built (which probably isn't true), the wife was left behind bleeding in an empty school, but he got help directly afterwards.

Is it normal for a female teacher to touch a male student's face like the dead wife was consistently doing to the villain student? It felt inappropriate to me (not that she meant anything by it, but I wouldn't be comfortable with that if I was him). She is too close to his age, so it's not like she is an ajumma that he thinks of as a mother.

This didn't start well for me. I kept trying to force myself to finish it in the first couple of episodes, so I sped them up, but it started to get more entertaining in the second half of the drama. The cases got more sophisticated (even though some of them were unrealistic, but I really liked their message). My favorite cases are the human Wi-Fi, then the preschool teacher. They are the most memorable. The first episode was too bleak for me. I also didn't like the one with cars because it was too unrealistic and unrelatable, and the gambling episode, because it's an overused topic/situation in dramas. The last cases reminded me of Taxi Driver which is a good thing because I liked that drama.

Has nothing to do with the main character, but other...
Because I thought it was clear that I meant "regardless of the truth". When you say something like "even if this thing is true...", it doesn't mean you believe it's true. It means "if the other person believes it's true, they should consider this...". The key is in the word "if". I was talking about the male lead, because many here believed it is about him and were angry that the writers wanted them to root for a character that has done bad things, and I'm saying it doesn't matter even if it's him. I only stopped replying because I keep repeating myself. It's not an important topic for me to keep talking about it. It's just a show for pure entertainment, not education.
