Ryu SuYeol is the "body owner", people can only see him. He appears on pictures taken by other people (the ones he retrieved from the safe and the video footage of him jumping on the car). 'K' is an alter. You (as a TV viewer) and Ryu SuYeol are the only ones who are aware of him (his different body is just to make it easier for people to differentiate between him and Ryu SuYeol). You can notice that others don't usually notice when Ryu SuYeol is talking to K, that is because most of their conversations are inside Ryu SuYeol's head. Only sometimes can people notice that he is talking to himself, and that is when the alters talk to each other out loud which is possible for someone with a dissociative personality disorder.

Yeah, I thought this was the reason they mistook it for a fantasy but I had to make sure. People see all sort of things in their mind, we can't call that a fantasy.

Why is this categorized as fantasy? I'm on the 5th episode and still haven't seen something that could be called fantasy. Will there be fantasy in the later episodes?

I just started this and I find the plot embarrassing to tell to other friends. Male/Female twins who are very identical to the point where they have the exact same mole? And when Dami assumed the identity of her brother, it was really weird that they gave the actress a feminine haircut and hairstyling, they even made it seem like it's a thing that females and males have different type of hair and that people would recognize their sex based solely on their hair? That's not a thing!

The 8th episode is my favorite so far. I wish they could do an after-show of Running Man where they talk like this about their point of view when they were filming the episode, and share behind stories of the filming and unaired clips after each episode. It would be fun to watch that.

I just googled Jang Won Young because I'm not familiar with idols, I only recognize the ones who frequently appear on TV Shows, but you are right they look kinda similar. I don't follow social media stars so I couldn't have recognized her from there, that's why I got confused when I learned that she wasn't an idol.

Nevermind, I just remembered that she was one of the contestants in Crazy Recipe Adventure. It suddenly came to me. I can't believe I'm still familiar with her face. I thought she was an idol I saw on Running Man.

I haven't started the drama so I haven't seen the scene you are referring to yet, but people can have a whole conversation while they are sleeping. I know someone I have to ask if they are asleep or not when I'm talking to them to make sure they aren't. I get fooled into thinking they are awake because what they say usually makes sense.

I don't think it is, because the story is mostly different, and I couldn't find any official resource stating that it is, but one might say it's "inspired by" Killing Eve or at least the character of the killer is. Maybe the creator of the media you're referring to was stating their opinion about how similar they are.

I like your detailed outlook on K's character, and I couldn't have put it better myself, but I don't think that people didn't like the sophistication of her character, they most probably hated her actions, her believes, and her justification of all the bad thing she does, they know it's a well-written character but they just can't stomach her actions.

I would say that K is definitely bad but the team perusing her is grey since they seem okay with someone else killing people as long as they didn't do it themselves. It makes sense since they started this for work and not out of the goodness of their hearts.

I thought it resembled Luther, but you are right, it kind of also reminds me of Killing Eve. It makes sense since I thought Killing Eve was a bad version of Luther while watching it. Although I think the obsession the killer has for their pursuer in both Luther and Killing Eve is downplayed here.

It's listed on most Korean sites as an 8-episode show, Naver says it's 14 episodes, but they will probably add more episodes if it was successful.

I think participating in a program like King of Masked Singer is a proof that there are idols who want people to not judge them by their looks. Have you seen I Can See your Voice? There is a sentence almost everyone said on that show which is "He is too good looking, so he can't sing". No one (including good looking people) want to be judged by the way they look. If I were a good looking idol, I would've hated people complimenting my appearance and ignoring my skills. Women in general experience this more often, and I believe idols too don't want their looks to be the only thing people can compliment or criticize. No one likes to be someone who has nothing else to offer besides their looks.

Yes, the first part of this statement is true, it was restricting and is considered a handicap, but fighting with JongKook without being able to rip his nametag was already a bigger disadvantage. It wasn't a fair game to begin with, and no matter how they did well, only four of them are allowed to win, which is unfair, but seriously, since when Running Man was fair? They think of a seemingly fun concept, they try it out and leave it to the members to keep it fair. Do you realize that if they were really taking the competition seriously on Running Man, JongKook would've won almost all the episodes? But he keeps passing by the other members and giving them "chances" which happened to the Golden Child member so many times on this very episode, JongKook literally passed by one of them when he was basically trapped in a room and pretended he didn't see him so that he would have more screen time.

Their faces don't hold their personality, I could tell how their personality is just by watching how they behave. I have a friend who is insecure about how she is perceived when people look at her face because she looks arrogant, people don't really give her a chance to prove them wrong and it's really depressing her because "the personality that shows on her face" makes it easier for people to make assumption about how she behaves and they are usually wrong. To tell you the truth, I too judge people based on how they look without me realizing. "He is concerned about his looks, he must be boring, I must ignore him while watching this episode and zone out every time he is on" is something a lot of people who aren't fans of idols would think of while watching an episode with an idol guest. Masks help get rid of this prejudices.
