The last episode was meh for me tbh. Probably the only episode i didn't like. I think i would prefer an open ending. And I'm glad they didn't try to explain the origin of the curse.
I loved the drama overall. Even though the series plot is kinda dark, this show was kinda relaxing lol. I do agree it's kinda slow, but i didn't mind. Episodes 7 and 8 were the best and the episode 9 reveal was also really good.
I sat down to watch episodes 5 and 6 back-to-back, but i had to come here before episode 6 and say that the 5th one was so good! It's so interesting to see this develop. I find this drama so soothing lol. I love how quiet and not in your face this is.
And i see some people are still complaining that this is too slow. Although i agree to some extent (i don't think it is a bad thing), i feel like lot of people are expecting romance and this is not what this show is about. AT ALL. So i believe this is the biggest reason why some people are left with this bittwersweat impression of the drama. And i'm honestly not trying to invalidate anyone's opinion lol. This is more like a note to anyone reading the comments and thinking if they should watch it or not: if you're looking for romance, this is not for you.
Another good episode. It was nice to see things from her perspective.
And even with people dying all the time, the most heartbreaking scene in episode 2 actually was her father finding out she was bullied and excluded and then picking up her stuff from her locker. So sad.
"The Witch ratings recorded 2.6% in the metropolitan area, 2.4% nationwide, and a peak of 3.3%, setting the highest first-broadcast ratings in Channel A drama history (Nielsen Korea)"
Nothing justifies this 4.2 rating lol. It's probably just a glitch, right?
Anyway, the first episode was really nice. The trailers weren't doing much for me so i didn't know what to expect, but i'm enjoying it so far. I think it was a good introduction to the plot and, mostly, to Jinyoung's character. Can't wait for tomorrow!
This didn't work for me. At all. And this says a lot because i'm usually the type of person that likes everything. But this was just boring. There's nothing substantial happening in these 12 episodes, no conflicts whatsoever, no consequences to anything...just a bunch of nothing happening.
Didn't hear anything about it yet, but i doubt it. Ah In is the main character, so the amount of reshooting would be huge (and pretty expensive). My guess is that they'll try to edit him out as much as possible and then probably release directly on streaming and call it a day, instead of pushing a theatrical release.
Ratings should be higher tbh. I'm not even a ForceBook fan, but this is thai BL 101. It may not have the most deep storyline, but it's cute and heartwarming enough, the couple has great chemistry, the characters are likable, etc. If you want to relax and have fun, you're in for a treat.
If you're wondering if you should watch this or not, let me help you: - If you got into BL recently (2022 onwards), then you should probably skip this. - If you're used to "old school" thai BLs, go for it. And dare i say: if you're latino you'll probably like this. It has a major telenovela vibe. Is it the best? Far from it. But it was an easy watch for me.

Congrats to The Witch team!
The ratings is probably a glitch or trolls lol

This Rating is a crime. It should not be under 8.0 AT ALL.
