one of the few people who liked the ending. even at the end, isn't there only warmth they feel for each other? something so beautiful...yet in life we have to part.
thanks to this show i was able to watch a wonderful relationship between two people who decided to love each other for ever.
baek yi jin said "I don't think not living your dream means you've failed at life, and i don't think living your dream makes you succeeded either."
at first i didn't think much of this line, but i was just listening to a song called 'superstar' by gdragon..and in the song he says that he is living his dream. he always wanted everything he has now, but still, there's pain in a corner of his heart that doesn't leave. there's loneliness, there's emptiness.
we all have this idea in our heads that "if i do this i'll be happy", and yes choosing good things in life is important but more than that we need to realize that ONE specific thing in our lives won't make us happy. happiness is our choice. if we achieve our dreams, it won't mean an end to pain, so it isn't a "successful" life.
at the same time, even if we can't achieve our dreams, it doesn't mean we have failed in life. that's a very important lesson i've learnt from a kdrama called 'My mister'. to everyone reading this, i hope you're happy now. i hope you always remind yourself to strive to be happy in the present, rather than putting all importance into a fleeting moment of your life.
i just want to post taylor swift's lyrics from a song called "right where you left me" here which fit young ro a lot
"Glass shattered on the white cloth Everybody moved on Help, I'm still at the restaurant Still sitting in a corner I haunt Cross-legged in the dim light They say, "What a sad sight" "
Youngro has tried her best to help save the hostages so I'm confused how she's doing nothing. Aside from asking…
you're absolutely correct! it is unrealistic for people to have such high expectations from her character when they conveniently overlook every single time she has actually been so brave
i saw many comments here saying young ro keeps crying, doing nothing. All i want to say is : she's like 20 right now. the person she loves turned out to be a nk spy; she fought! her brother died, she must've been in so much pain but she still kept fighting. then finding out that her dad was going to kill all her friends without a thought...imagine how betrayed she must've felt. again.
nonetheless she still decided to talk to her dad to protect everyone inside. Even now she cant catch a break because her dad got shot and she thinks he's in a critical situation. honestly, she's been so strong all this time. the amount of pain she's had to suffer is crazy.
even if in the next ep all she does is cry then i'd understand it because i wont expect someone who's my age to be able to cope with this much trauma all together.
