I believe it was a traditional funeral that was based on Confucian customs. It might also be connected to Shamanism, but I'm not educated about it, so I'm not sure.
I don't mind JJY acting in this drama. It's probably a mix of her having a role she's comfortable with and the fact she has good chemistry with the ML. I think it's a pretty interesting drama and I haven't been bored so far. Hopefully they don't ruin it in the middle with nonsensical filler scenes and keep it exciting. Bickering and partnership between the leads is very enjoyable to watch. I dislike when the FL is a damsel in distress, but at least here both of them help each other out, so it's not as one sided as usual. Smart and capable female characters make dramas much better.
Lol that Step Up scene was funny. Anyway, I'm kind of confused about how I feel about this drama. There are parts that I like and parts that are awkward and make me cringe. It's entertaining though, so I'll definitely finish it.
I don't know how, but I managed to restrain myself and not watch last week's episodes so that I can watch 4 at once today. They are so ADORABLE! I kept blushing due to their cuteness lol It's like they're young teens in love. Their chemistry is amazing because such scenes can easily become cringy.
There is one thing that really irked me though. What her dad said about him being an orphan and what that woman said during his grandfather's funeral. It's so incredibly insensitive and rude that I felt a wave of anger while watching it. He's so gracious about it as well. Simply forgiving despite being hurt by it. KSH is the perfect for this role, they did a great job by casting him.

I have that drama on my plan to watch list. I didn't know it's not subbed. I hope that changes soon because I want to see more of his work. I've seen him in Battle of Changsha and Love O2O, but this one made me notice him since he's the ML.

I've enjoyed this. I would have given it a 7, but due to ML's acting, I gave it an 8. I think he did a great job portraying his character's emotions. It would be interesting to see him act as a psychopath.
Anyways, this is a nice drama, too long for my taste, but the leads have good chemistry and there were many sweet moments. Side couples are cute as well and bring comedic aspects to the drama.
OST is AMAZING. Pick Up Light always made me emotional when it started playing. I would rewatch it just to hear that song again lol
I usually stay away from any drama that has more than 30 episodes, especially these family dramas. However, this sounds quite interesting and I like JHW, so I'll try it. I'm watching a bunch of dramas currently, so I won't feel annoyed by only 2 episodes a week. Hopefully it's good and there's chemistry between the leads.

I like how she said her efforts have a limit, however, I think she went past it already. She's constantly disappointed and hurt. She should step back and let him come to her once he makes a decision about what he wants. I wouldn't want to be with such person, but this is a drama so I think that would be the best for her to do.
