Literally. its like when hetero dramas have romance as subplot. example: Signal/Queen of mystery. Idk why ppl love those and aren't going crazy over why it's not romance but theres a warzone about this everyday. The show is following the manga really well and even though the manga is def gayer its not that explicit. The show could have done worse by making Shiro a het but they stayed true to his vital character trait and I am so thankful.

I would love for Japan to make more BL's tbh. They excel in every single category that other countries fail in. They beat Thailand for storyline, acting and lack of toxic shipping culture. Korea for time. Taiwan simply because they don't have an obsession for step brother trope. And Pinoy BL cause they have the budget(Although no one does femme characters like Pinoy BL). Overall JBL really are the complete package. I also love how they don't do the "Coming soon" thing and keep you guessing for 5 years(*cough* between us, Kinnporche *cough*) They literally give u all the info when they drop the news for the show. I really love their workflow ngl.

I go to watch this show every single week with lowered expectations so I dont get disappointed but it just keeps getting gayer and gayer plz 😭

1. We don't know it yet and 2. If we use kissing as a baseline for if a show is BL or not then a LOT of fan favorite BL will become non bl ngl. If u r interested in watching the show because of the romance aspect then ig i will hold out till it ends to find out but if u like the plot then I would just watch it and enjoy it weekly tbh.

I have read the manga and let me tell u its still fucking great. They r obviously going a different plot than the manga(fake dating) so their development is going to be different. But the fact that Shiro only saw Ichiro as his last memory while he was getting waterboarded is so fucking gay. I went into this show with 0 expectations cause of the bromance tag but they really exceeded it ngl. Also we still have a lot of episodes left. I am not saying they might show the missing manga parts in the end but like u never know lol. I am super happy with how it is atm ngl.
