Well, they literally put LGBTQ+, Gay, Bisexual...etc tags, so I guess it will be actual BL but not too kinky.…
The manga is categorized as BL

with only one episode left, I wonder if this gets another season. I mean there are still so many questions unanswered.…
From my experience Japanese shows just randomly get a s2 or movie out of nowhere. I am not gonna give any hope but the manga isn't finishes so if the show is doing well and the actors r willing to comeback, they will most likely do a movie/s2

Just watched the special episode. It's really cute and funny(wish it was longer tbh). I'll upload it when I am…
No kiss in the special again(as expected).
The way I was screaming for them to put in the manga scene for the hotel bed rotating. I wish they did. The gay panic Ichirou had was so priceless in that scene. Ah yes the indirect kiss. Screaming and crying.
The "Welcome home" bit aaaaaaaaa. Ichirou acting like it's his house. They are literally married goodbye.
This episode was so gayyyy

No if u r thinking of YOI as a BL then this is definetly a BL. I usually use BananaFish as an example but ig it…
How r u going to regulate what is a BL and what is not a BL to me personally? 🙄 Also Eiji literally never gets married or has another partner. Where are you getting this info from?🤨

Many times it makes me smile to notice some "tags" totally randomly placed, without a logical connection. This…
omg thank you so much, i was so confused when I watched it and kind of grossed out cause the tag really shouldn't be put in there tbh. This explains a lot.

I think Seokjin is funnier than JaeSuk (He matches my sense of humor more) but don't worry, that's not their intention…
no cause his humor has always been my type tbh. i think him, kwangsoo and somin have been my fav for comedy

No same tbh. It's pretty obvious that they only have eyes for each other so i don't need to know more. And they r literally canonically into each other in the source material. I am happy with what they r right now. Perfect example of slow burn

tbh they are literally like a married couple. It's not very bromance. I would say they act more like a bl couple than someone the actually shows under the bl genre. Ichirou cooks all meals for Shirou and takes care of household chores while Shirou just sits there being bratty and pretty. Their last episode extra was literally them fighting over taking out the trash. It's pretty gay if i say so myself. If u r a sucker for domestic fluff and "2 idiots who share 1 single braincell" couple dynamic, u would love this

I mean even if you don't take in the context of the manga, it's not at all subtle about their attraction towards each other. Like they would literally die and kill for each other. It's very clear what their relationship is. Not to mention Ichirou started having non platonic dreams about Shirou so the producers are definitely trying to push as much as they can while staying withing "bromance" tag. And as for the hetero ending, hetero for me is if either of them ends up with a partner of opposite gender. There was a slight threat with Ichirou and Chika but she literally realized that Ichirou likes Shirou(even though he doesn't know it) and gave up. And as for Shirou he doesn't have a prominent love interest so he is not gonna end up with anyone.

I was waiting to see if this would be bromance or BL (and imo it doesn't need a kiss to make that distinction…
No if u r thinking of YOI as a BL then this is definetly a BL. I usually use BananaFish as an example but ig it works with YOI too. Theres not gonna be a hetero ending no matter what. And theres not an outright love confession but if u read between the lines they literally like each other romantically.

Wow so many negative comments on the drama. I had to sit there and figure out what time the drama just fell off(as…
Don't get me wrong I still love the drama and the interactions between characters and obviously Shirou is still my baby and I will die for him if asked. I think ep 8 was one of the weakest. My personal fav is ep 7 cause of the hug and not to mention the clear sign that Chika knows and going to not pursue Ichirou. I think the elements are still there for ep 8. The events are still stressful but it was just executed poorly? Like Shirou holding the gun to his head could have been a more stressful situation if Ichirou was the one listening in and assisting him. Not to mention Rion's reaction was pretty tame compared to how it could have been. Also I am pretty sure in the manga Shirou breaks down/looks scared after the prime minister leaves.(i think he just sits on the floor) So I think this scene needed to be acted/written out more seriously. The son getting kidnapped part was written poorly too cause there was no stakes and Rion going to get him and having a fight off with the female agent would have been more impactful tbh. And I know it doesn't make sense for Rion to take a bullet for that girl but ig she is the only "witness" they have at hand so she didn't want to lose her(also it's giving very lesbian of her but i digress) But the scene was also very important tbh. Ichirou said he is afraid he would kill the person who is responsible for his parents and in that scene he let go of him for Rion. It shows a shift in his mentality because now he has a found family? I think the drama didn't know what to do with trying to add in elements outside of the manga and is kind of messy. I am hoping it will get better in like ep 9 and 10. Ep 9 seems very filled with info so i hope they manage to make it make sense. I am honestly ok with Ichirou and Shirous relationship tbh. When I went into watching the drama I had no expectations(I have watched advanced bravely and this is miles ahead oh that) but yeah. Here's my essay lol. In conclusion, I think they could have spaced out the villain reveals or had like less villains? Cause there's too many of them and bringing out all of them at once is kind of messing it up.
