I liked it. I didn't love it. It had a great cast but I think the script was somewhat lackluster. So I don't regret my time investment but this will probably never make my re-watch list. Choi Min Soo's performance of Ahn Oh Jo was probably what made me keep comming back and watching it; his performance was standout for me.

Of course it will depend on your personal taste but I enjoyed Lion Pride a lot. It has decent pacing and is thankfully missing the most annoying types of side characters.

I 'd heartily second those Korean dramas. I also loved W if you haven't already seen it. There are a bunch of Chinese time travel dramas that I've watched but most of them tend to be just girl thrown into the past. If you don't mind a mild spoiler list I have a list on my profile called Happily Ever After Fantasy Romance that you can look at.
This was a good Drama. Can anyone recommend me something similar please?
I haven't seen any other Taiwanese dramas in this genre that are similar; but if you like the overall "feel" of this drama I recommend these; although none are sci fi or supernatural: Bromance: Girl disguised as boy plot The Masked Lover: Twins, Gangsters, and an undercover cop Lion Pride: Mystery Romance The King of Romance: Has the same lead actor but to be honest I hated the female lead so much it almost ruined it for me.
I get what you are saying, but because it really isn't a romance drama, I just don't think they have time for…
It would be fun to see them in a rom/com. Even if I'm not enjoying the romance so much the rest of the story is very interesting at least. Strangely I'm actually enjoying Choi Min Soo's performance the most though.
I guess my memory isn't that good. I forget the details of shows pretty quickly, but I do watch a lot of shows. I've watched some of the shows on my re-watch list five or more times.
I'm liking the story on one level but as a romance lover, I'm kinda not feeling their relationship. IDK what it is exactly about it but maybe I feel like they didn't give us enough build up or tension before making them a couple.
I really loved it. One of the times that I think having the story slowly play out makes it seem a bit more meaningful. It has a nice wrap up at the end too.
FYI if anyone is curious the official english manga for this is available for free on Comixology site titled Boys Over Flowers Season 2. Or at least the new chapters are free... I'm not sure if they took the first ones down when the volumes became available in print or not.
It took me awhile to finish but it's a lovely drama overall. It's just that it has a very melancholy tone that it's not something I could binge watch. The actors really did a stand out job conveying complicated emotions. Well worth the watch.
I actually really enjoyed this. I stayed interested in it while I was watching it and it really helped me relax. I thought the actors all did a great job and the pacing was excellent. They didn't let anything annoying drag out for episode after episode.
Still no subtitles? Snot! I wonder why? Is it one of those shows that has a lot of technical terms that makes it harder to translate? I saw that bah-doo has live recaps... I wonder if it's enough to follow it that way.
