Guys Have u noticed the posters?! I mean the posters which Yeeun is with each male leads! The poster of Dan-Oh…
that reveal feels like a red herring tbh. It is much too early in the drama to already settle the "biggest mystery" (which isn't really one haha) out into the open. They gonna use that who is lee seol plot-point for a while still i think.
I don't understand why everybody seems to want for the sister to remain single, like that's gonna do wonders for…
I mean yeah, you don't have to single for that, but it certainly helps yourself and your partner, if you have developed these skills and sense of self (at least to some degree) BEFORE throwing yourself in a serious relationship. Needs especially revaluation when the motive to date is (solely) out of fear to be alone/by yourself for any (brief) amount of time, like HS continues to do in the drama.
And we saw how this went with the younger guy, She was never authentic or her true self with him in order to please him and get his validation. This is a very unhealthy pattern she has repeated countless times before and will repeat if she does not learn how to appreciate her own company and value first. This is what i and other people meant with her character being too immature for a relationship rn. She should work on herself first in order to be able to find (authentic) happiness in a relationship later on.
On Ha Joon , you devilishly handsome little bloody devil πβ οΈ!!
i read jehoon at first and agreed lmao, but psycho boy is rather a boring bog-standard psychotic kdrama villain with a pretty/innocent face, tbh. Nothing new here. Doesn't help that i have seen the actor in two other (near) identical roles to this lately, i guess π
I love the drama but the thing that bothers me is how Do Ki is out and about without any disguise when he is supposed…
i am more bothered by him using his "real" name instead of an alias. People are very inattentive regarding faces seen only briefly, but names do linger... especially since he got arrested by the corrupt cops and is supposed to be "dead"
Iβm on 12th ep. Why do I feel like bishop is that 1$ lawyer guy
that would defeat the whole purpose of his character in the drama "One Dollar Lawyer" tbh. It is/was just a cameo since Jehoon appeared in that drama for a cameo too ;) (with the TD theme song playing, no less xD)

I meant the rather unusual color grading of the show. There is a system behind it. You will understand it best when watching it.
Yeah alas it is the exception instead the rule. There has been some progress made to spread awareness the past years but it is (still) at snail's pace at best. Hell, even how some people talked about depression/mental health issues in the comments here is very telling and not in a good way. There is so much ignorance about it, unfortunately.

Oh wow, thank you, lol. Honestly the drama is worth the watch as it has so many subtleties in between words, complex if sometimes frustrating characters and a stunning cinematography where all the small things have meaning. Yes, even the pink filter (which gets less and less now as emotions stabilize) lol.
I am not either, they can be a big help to "get unstuck" and to step in the right direction then, but your partner is never meant to be your therapist. That is what mental health professionals are for, after all. Sadly dramas all too rarely portray characters taking up counseling, given the stigma it still has, particularly in SK.

This is a false equivalence, btw. There is a BIG difference between being alone and being LONELY. Two very separate things and ML's situation is not at all comparable with that of WJ's sister who lives only for and through the validation of others and has never learned to appreciate her own company, nor who she is as a person.

I think you are missing the point. It is not about HS not deserving a relationship. it is about learning to be on her own, her own person and who she is, instead to only exist in extend of company of others. To be a good partner or just generally be a better self you have learn to how to be,alone, or rather to like your own company first and foremost instead to fear and avoid it at all cost. Because if you don't like yourself, nor know who you are and what you want/like, how are you going to adequately love someone else and know what you want from your partner, and how to build meaningful relationships?
It is a matter of maturity, of having a sound understanding of who you are on your own as a person, and THAT is what HS is clearly lacking. Hence why some time on her own to learn more about herself would be better for her instead to throw herself into yet another superficial relationship to avoid doing that/due to her pathological fear of being alone to the point of giving herself up in a relationship to please her partner. Which, btw, is a recipe for disaster, for lasting unhappiness/unhealthy and disbalanced relationships and co-dependency.
Hope they lose the domestic abuse "comedy" in this version.
... and the homophobic "haha look at this stupid, super stereotypical gay character, let's ridicule him for it" gags too. Come to think about it, that drama has aged terribly. Yikes.
I am actually glad she is not in season 2. While i did not hate her, her constant incompetence and chronic situational unawareness got old quickly. That subplot took generally too much focus away from the taxi team and outside her discussion about morality with DG, her scenes were a total snoozefest too. I think it could have been cool if she were a permanent taxi crew member in S2 (instead of, you know, more prosecutor nonsense) maybe idk. Still her absence is an improvement in my eyes, lol.
RIP to all the people who dislike season 2, but i am built differently. I actually enjoy the season and its focus on cases/the taxi team more without the prosecutor and edgy forced-grim dark.nonsense in season one detracting from them. π€·ββοΈ
Still contemplating about this maybe ill watch after knowing the ending. Hehe
it is one of these dramas that honestly is better watched once all eps available due to its slower pace and then known outcome of the story. Bc the waiting for new episodes and its incoming ending is killing me rn, ngl xD
Bring on the messiness and frustrations. I'm ready!I really like that none of the leads is naive. Completely over…
yeah i really like how ML stood up for himself instead to play the meek sacrificial filial lamb for them/his obnoxious grandmother with the delusion of herself being joseon royalty, lmao.
