Government s are changing rules every decade or so, In some country , they first banned it, then later they removed the ban after 30 years or so, due to multiple reasons like malnutrition, unemployment, crime rate so on. They thought there is some causality.
And in some other country, they want to increase population, so they uplifted ban, so it has many factors .. both the countries are highly developed economies..

In this series, they just touched that topic, very controversial though… so it’s up to you , how far u take it… My impression is this is light drama, so they might have a good ending where all the characters get along well. I mean without grudges or hate.

As woo,s mother want to become ministry of justice, she giving birth to a baby before marriage May look wrong … It’s absolutely no issues in her career as ceo, however for her political career that’s an issue. Also it’s no big deal in few cultures, so it’s the context as well. It appears like she is going down the wrong path for her ambitions (I am yet to watch 11) , though I was expecting a different ending where woo and mother get along well. So we need antagonist, though didn’t expect her after all she is mother. (It’s relatively rare that mothers against their own child)
So it's clear Goo Yoon Jung (Nak Su) is the main lead in S2.. Which means she will be going back to her own body!!Jin…
Yes yes I see your point , Yes very likely uk and naksu, otherwise it doesnt make sense if she abandons him, also there families have some connection. also Yul character is designed to keep tabs on rules of sorchery, soul shifting, so he may intend that uk doesnt get involved in ice stone and all. However UK destined to deal with it, because of his stars and birth, and of course he is ML.. :)

Not sure with whom Naksu ends up, I think that might happen at the end of SEASON 2.
