So literally no one knew except Junhwa and LBY that he was Huo Wushang and not LBY. Damn. That's a huge burden to carry for 10+ years. How patient he was to constantly have to look at his father's murderer in the eyes and hold himself back from doing anything.
Ying Yuan becoming Tang Zhou was the best thing that could've happened to him. It's putting into perspective where he wants to place his priorities vs where he's told he needs to put them.
Yan Dan says she can't forgive that he made her forget...but I hope she realizes why he did that. She would've done the same. If she saw him so lifeless and wishing for death, she wouldn't done whatever it took to save him.
OMO...CSS will have to walk in the path of Wang Ling...Even worse, she had to beg the Emperor for her husband-to-be…
Wang Ling was so hateful, but I am happy she found little pieces of joy with her husband. We all know she was the way she was because her family was so f-ed up
Man Ep 45 was a tear-jerker. I love Qi Qi so much. She's so brave and a perfect spouse for Cheng Song.
I really do feel for Lou Ben. He only wanted to protect his family; his beloved wife, his soft-hearted brother and his kind mother. He was like a cornered animal who felt his only way out was to strike. But everyone is responsible for their own choices and one wrong move can cost everything. He sacrificed so many innocent people to get what he wanted. It's sad that the ones who ended up paying for his crime were the very people he sought to protect.
I've really missed Lou Yao...it's unfortunate that the next time we see him is during this unfortunate event TT There's nothing more heartbreaking than seeing the shattered innocence of a pure-hearted character.
The trailer for the parents' arc is giving me major Goodbye My Princess vibes. It appears like he (the dad) uses her (the mom) but actually falls in love with her. His unwillingness to sacrifice neither his ambition nor his love is making me think of Li Cheng Yin.
I love that the more LBY spends time with CSS, the more he adores her. Her stubbornness, her resilience, her heart; everything that makes her..well..her.
I think he sees parts of himself in her and the way she fights and the way she loves endears her to him. The biggest difference between them is age (not so much in number..but in what they've already experienced). At 15, she's still young and innocent while at 21, he's already experienced devastating losses. This shows in their demeanor and in the way they seek revenge for their wrongs. CSS schemes her little pranks while LBY goes hard and attacks families. Yet his viciousness has never truly scared her and she accepts that part of him..because she would do the same if she were in his shoes. They are one of those couples in drama land who are reflections of each other and therefore, are the perfect compliment to each other.
I just love how the characters are so atypical from most xianxia series! 1. FL does not have a whiny voice and…
I've grown to really like Yu Mo, especially in the more recent episodes. He's becoming a steady pillar for both YD and TZ. I think it hurts him to see YD falling for TZ..but he respects her decision. He never tries to obtain her sole attention and gives both of them respect and understanding because he understands that it's not about him.
Yu Mo is so kind to Tang Zhou. It makes me wonder how he's going to react when he finds out Tang Zhou is Ying Yuan. I have no doubt though that he will respect Yan Dan's decision if she chooses to still be with Ying Yuan in the end. And I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the writers make it so YM is the one to help them clear up their misunderstandings.
There's no doubt CSS gets her strength from her mother. The mother in prison telling everyone to eat was heartbreaking yet shows why she's the true matriarch of her family. There are times to crumble and times to fight and her immense strength to hold on instead of breaking is admirable.
Immortal samsara. It’s taxing my patients by focusing on the second leads instead of the main
It's funny because I'm also watching that and while I fast-forward through all the unnecessary second-lead stuff in Immortal Samsara, I'm peeved that side stories in Love Like the Galaxy seem to have been edited out (ie: Qi Qi and Cheng Song's romance arc)

Nothing tests a person's patience like the fillers in long-running anime hahah

It just seems like there's still a lot of story left yet it's currently dragging in the mortal realm and it doesn't seem like it ends in Part 1.
