meh maybe a slight love triangle because of the SML who does play quite a big role plot wise, but he doesn't do anything detrimental to the main leads' relationship romantically.
I'm super picky about watching certain tropes in dramas (eg. time traveling, big age gaps, etc) so when I saw this drama airing with age regression and romance, I immediately shut it down. But I finally caved because I love PerthSanta and I have to say I am not disappointed at all!!!
They handled the age regression and romance with finesse. Santa did a magnificent job and differentiating the two characters (Sun and Solar) that I did not feel the least bit icked out. Perth, as well, did amazing with his role as a caretaker.
This drama dived into some deep topics but also kept the balance of comedy and romance which is definitely not as easy feat. I must say due to the comedic nature of this drama, if you're looking for a show with lots of romance or plot this is probably not it. But still, an amazing weekend watch to pass the time.
oh gosh i just finished it and i cannot wait for s2. i loved the characters and the slow burn which i'm not usually a fan of. the plot was a bit wonky sometimes and i got a bit confused occasionally but nothing too crazy.
I can't lie toward the last 10 episodes, it truly felt like the drama was dragging. I felt like the amnesia plot in the last bit was just so unecessary we could've for sure done without it. And this is just a personal preference but it miffed me a little that MQQ never truly became herself again. Just RanRan with MQQ memories. Overall very strong drama with amazing casting just dragged a bit toward the end. But still loved the ending!!
amazing. spectactular. perfection. deadass everything in this drama was amazing. ML was the definition of cold on the outside soft on the inside and FL adapted and broke him down little by little. Beautiful execution of the politics in the plot. It was super easy to follow and I was instantly hooked. Also strong FL let's goo !!!
This is one of those dramas where I'm going to be depressed over it ending for the next week. The main couple was perfection. They have to be the most healthiest couple ive seen in a xianxia in a long time. No major communication and they both talked/understood each other. Also Ao Ruipeng's acting in this drama got me in a chokehold from episode 1. His acting presence was actually spectacular he really acted each emotion of every character to a T. And ofc he's fine as hell.
Romance aside, this storyline has got to be one of my favorite historical plots in 2025. All the arcs were all intertwined with each other, which I absolutely loved especially the one with the Demon Lord and the Lunar Lord. Oh gosh that arc brought me to tears so many times. There were no instances in the drama where I was confused as to what was happening. And usually in historical dramas, there will be a couple of points where the plot drags on or there's too many details and you lose track, but none of those happened with this drama. I was kept on my toes until the very last episode.
Also can't forget the setting, hair, makeup, outfits!! Ugh, everything was done to the minutest detail with everyone's look. Also can we take a moment for the CGI?? Amazing.
Hospital playlist had everything. But I still think we saw a bit of other departments. Pediatricians, ER, neuro…
No yeah def saw them for sure but case wise we didn’t really see much of them is what I meant. Like for example, when we saw the ER it was for a pregnant patient. That’s what I meant lol
Love medical dramas in general but this one especially cuz I’m also in the OBGYN speciality. I loved the pace of this drama nothing too crazy plot wise but wstill got me hooked asap. The acting was done splendidly as well considering there that are a lot of new actors. The romance wasn’t pushed onto us but I loved the little tidbits we got. I really enjoyed the cameos of the characters from Hospital Playlist too!! If you’re trying to watch a drama with new and interesting cases all the time this show probably isn’t going to do that since it is only focusing on one speciality. Not to say that the cases weren’t interesting, but it was clear that it was more on the growth aspect rather than the actual medical part. I wished we got more on the other departments too since it was all OBGYN related and never rly with any others. But then again that is the premise of this show so I’m not too upset at that. All in all, loved this medical drama
Just finished and I gen have no words. Everything was absolutly done perfectly. The storyline brought me to tears so many times, the characters' plots were done to a T as well. Tantai Jin played almost 5 different roles and each of them done so well that I connected to each character. His character is so pitiful ToT 10/10 drama.
loved loved LOVEDDD this drama smmm. All the pairs were perfect for each other. Also goddamn they’re all so good looking. The last sister’s plot was a little draggy for me personally and their chemistry was as a little low but nothing I couldn’t get by. Overall though 10/10. Definitely should watch if you’re debating.
What is wrong with these new short dramas with the romance happening at the end? In the past, they would sort…
I totally agree!!! I'm on episode 9 as well, and honestly I might just drop. Idk but I'm seriously not feeling any chemistry between the ML's especially 9 eps in. The second couple is what im purely watching for atp.
wow. literally amazing. Even with the lack of speech for a majority of the movie Yamada played his character so perfectly, I understand every emotion and thought he was trying to convey. I've seen all of his works and I must say this was one of his best. The FL actress did her job perfectly to a T as well. I have no complaints about this actors at all. I do wish they gave us just a little bit more closure toward the end but I feel like leaving it somewhat open has its own charm to it which felt right for this story. 10/10. no doubt.
i must say the comments on this drama surprised me. personally, I loved this drama and its progression. I do understand although at around ep 20 they introduced a whole new plot which did feel a bit rushed esp because it was towards the end but it was nothing so big that it affected total rating. the chemistry between the main couple was perfect imo. second couple was a bit rushed for me but they were cute fosho. 8.5/10
woww this drama was a new watch for me. I love the all female-oriented plot which was so refreshing. So many ppl are criticizing it for the ML's lack of expressiveness and lack of romance but personally, even if his facial expressions did not match FL's loving expressions, he spoke through his actions. Throughout, he was always having her back no matter what and that spoke for itself. And tbh I think his acting and facial expressions were not so bad that I was forcing myself to watch him. You could tell that his demeanor softened around her all the time. 9/10.
in which ep leads start dating and is there any break up if yes in which ep?
i’m pretty sure they formally get together in the last episode (maybe second to last) where he gives her a ring. in the last few episodes though, they do start flirting a bit more which gives the connotation of dating but nothing has been said yet. they run into a conflict obv which makes them end their flirting but officially they have no breakups.

minor misunderstandings which are resolved in the same episode because of AMAZING communication
