This was quite a fun and easy watch.
Not the typical cliche vertical drama, and the actresses were so fun to watch as best friends.
They didn't focus enough on the second couple though :'(

ok yes i was just goin to mention POJ but stopped myself bc some ppl get annoyed when you compare dramas. But yes, my withdrawal symptoms from our XieZheng/ChangYu couple are still in effect. hahaha i started this drama to get over it but it's not rlly doing its job! YET hahahaha
Im also planning on watching veil of shadows

im obsessed w both dilraba and arthur, I thought i'd fly past the episodes but it almost feels like something's missing.
I know ill keep watching, i just need to take my time i guess hahaha

the visuals are stunning and the characters are very solid, but something is missing. it's not giving me the "OMG I CANT WAIT FOR WHAT HAPPENS NEXT" factor... i dont think ill drop it though. it's just taking some time hahahaha

he only does verticals though, and those film within a month or so, probably within weeks. you can tell bc their outfits and hair/makeup repeats in many scenes. im guessing there isnt much post production either, since they're low budget and all so im guessing he filmed them all after he came out. im just surprised he's still allowed to be on tv at all

Not cringe and cliche like almost every single vertical cdrama w the same plot. This one actually felt like a regular original drama, just shorter. They were cute too :)

Did he really go to prison?! I mean in America that wouldn't be such a big deal in terms of coming back into the entertainment business.. but CHINA?!
Does anyone actually know the details, because I really cannot fathom this being possible.

yeah i like it, it's one of the better ones so far! the leads are both so attractive, which is why i started, but the story is also intriguing.
