I am probably grasping at straws, but part of me wants to think that the gardener is the father of Jae Kyung because I do think he is very sus as well. And we saw the message early on about how if he didn’t call his father back, he would show up at the City Hall. And that kind of makes me question what’s going on with his family. so I could see the gardener doing all this curse stuff to help his son.

Yes, I do agree he should have been more strict with Na Yeon. But, since at the end he revealed that they made an agreement with Nayeon to keep it a secret at the work place; so there could be more to their break-up conversation that we didn't see and maybe he actually tried harder to break-up?
What I didn't like was that when Nayeon said things like why does it have to be Hong Jo, she is nothing etc. he didn't say anything back and just said Nayeon has every right to talk that way????? Lol but I still love this drama sooooo freaking much; so I'm just gonna kinda ignore that part. :D I just hope that the writer doesn't forget about Nayeon bullying Hong Jo in highschool and Shin Yu somehow finds out about it. Yeah NY likes to flaunt her "long term relationship" with SY but completely forgets that a) it has been a political union for his family's sake and he just did not mind it since he was sick and close to dying anyway, b) SY never loved her, ever. It even goes as far that he does not like to be touched by her, or around her lmao. c) they are a total window couple, just for show, prestige and appearance but she spins the wildest delulu stories about how lovey dovey they are, just to make herself look good and better than others with flaunting her arm candy to induce other people's envy. It is psychotic and so very narcissistic. d) SY only now experiences being in love and that for the first time in his life and it is with Hongjo, not her. He does not even like her, he never makes any effort to text, meet up or call her while he is always doing so with HJ, tenfold even 😂
So despite SY being in a long term relationship on paper, both leads are on the same level of experience with love/relationships basically. Hongjo with her not having a relationship before due to having been a loner and SY never having been in love before meeting HJ. Which explains why they are so messy with it as no one has the experience to take the lead here and so they just throw things at the wall and see what sticks instead lmao. Total uncharted territory for both as they fumble their way thru it to reach a common ground and eventual happiness, which is made even more difficult by miscommunication and of course all the supernatural elements likke magic, bad and good. The reason why I started liking this drama is because of Solhee's special lie detector ability, how she runs her own unique business with it and just how she deals with people in her daily life. I didn't like how they made Solhee lose her ability around the end, but at least, I'm glad it wasn't that dramatic. It still feels normal and there wasn't big changes after it. Solhee is just chill as usual and she didn't even realize it until she worked with her client. We've seen more good side of it... It's actually nice to see Solhee living an ordinary life without the interruptions of all the lies she hears everywhere, and especially with the help of Doha who's showing her the positive things she could normally do without her ability. Solhee has always been the one caring, supporting and protecting Doha, so now it's Doha's turn to comfort Solhee.
BUT I'm so relieved that Solhee's ability came back, even though she decided not to use it anymore. It's kinda bittersweet, I'm sad that she's not working on her business, but I'm happy that she finally found peace and love in her life.
It's been heartwarming how Solhee and Doha are always on each other's side - trusting each other, getting stronger and being more affectionate. They went through a lot and worked together to overcome their own problems. They found the right person and I'm happy that they will get married. This drama highlights the importance of communication, trust and honesty. Solhee and Doha really showed what a healthy relationship should be. It's been so wonderful to see the journey of this wholesome couple with their pure love. They're definitely one of best couples in kdramaland!
The top review is already baseless just by the title. Why can't people just accept that everyone has different tastes and preferences? It's normal that you'll find something you dislike while other people like it. But there's people who just want to act superior and it's annoying when they try hard to belittle the drama and compare it to different dramas just to make a point why it's bad.
This drama is obviously not a masterpiece or perfect. But it's still a good drama that a lot of people simply love and enjoy. This is more on romcom and it's targeted for viewers who want to see a healthy couple who are green flag to each other. Even if there's a murder mystery, it's not dark and they still maintain the stable romance along it. Overall this drama is lighthearted.
Those people saying the "main leads has no chemistry" are just people who don't like the actor but wants to dragged it into their chemistry. I've noticed how much people hate Hwang Min Hyun. I don't really care about him, but he's not that bad. Honestly, he's not an amazing actor, but he still did a good job for portraying a reserved, awkward, anxious guy. His character is built that way but other people just refuse to understand that.

In Penthouse, the intros concealed the entire plot, and if you observe them carefully, you can understand the whole storyline in detail. They also tweaked the intro slightly each season to show how characters and their fates changed over the seasons.
Similarly, in this new drama, you'll find plenty of details in the intro alone. One thing I've noticed so far is that Yang Jin Mo holds a snake in his hand, symbolizing that he will be the biggest betrayer in the drama, while in the intro, there is blood on Mone's skirt, representing her giving birth in the first episode.
