Yes, I heard that and I think it way too much. If that true, than most of episodes will be filler of artifact hunting of FL and ML. I started reading novel a little and so many of chapters consist of FL and ML, hunting artifact and fighting demons.

Jing Tian supposed to play FL but somehow she was out, isn't it? Still to this day I don't know why she dropped it, probably someone enlighten me. I was not really following this drama until Yang Zi took the role. What I know Yang Zi initially rejected the role because she is in Golden Hairpin but it is cancelled. Than she took the role right after Jing Tian out.

This drama is just classic. Su Su going blind and jump from Heaven terrace was so heartbreaking, it feels like they retelling a long existed timeless old tale. But surprisingly Ten Miles is completely modern drama. Highly recommended.

Well, I don't know they reverse male lead and second male lead in drama.

I hope it is good as Ten Miles or Ashes of Love. Costume, visual and production value seems good. It just direction, acting, editing and writing that matter. I have no doubt with Cheng Yi and Yang Zhi acting skill, they will carry the drama. I don't read the novel but I hope it's not too cliche.

Love the drama but I can see it's not going to be everyone cup of tea. Xianxia genre can be absurd and outlandish, character is so black and white. I like Ten Miles more than AoL, I find characters in Ten Miles are more graceful. But Yang Zi and Deng Lun carried the show, frankly I become Yang Zi fan after watch this show. Eagerly waiting her new big drama Immortal Samsara.
