Overall ep1 is was pretty similar to anime. FL send to palace, meeting on library, FL and ML meet on the flower garden. FL is smart but also clumsy and airheaded. It was trope of heroine in anime.

Curious if they filmed it 3 years ago . If so, deadass we literally waiting 3 years so they can airing during Dragon boat festival.

It is fantasy setting ( not real Chinese dynasty ) and some character have supernatural power. Not crazy one such as foresight or healing. No whacky power like turn into animals or casting fireball. Some characters can transfer their mind to another body. There are a spirit and ghost as well. Characters that have those power mostly elders or immortals or some sects.

All of the main characters are powerless. Simply put fantasy power is not going to be a main thing, it mostly about romcom, slice of life and they fix some problem or bureaucratic works. Sometimes when venturing, protag can encounter ghost or whatnot.

That's a wishful thinking but there will be no more anime of it. You can just think it as alternate universe.

It is dubbing. It do not match the intensity and face of the actor. The actor usually picked VA that similar to their but CDL real voice nothing sounds like this. If it was 2010, people were kinda okay with this kind of thing but it is 2026. I feels people demand production that more sophisticated.

It is MDL, lot of haters rated the drama. Some Koreaboos also rated 1 star any Chinese dramas indiscriminately.

Last six episodes are slow, pretty much the entire arc of Chu Zhao back to Yunzhong pace is so slow. Very contrast to early episodes which is very fast and do not let an audience catch a breath. I get feeling it supposed to be longer but they cut it out.

I feels you all too harsh over Chu Zhao by calling her stupid or dumb. Sure, she was extremely emotional in recent two episodes. She scream to her own mom and Yan Lai but she never endanger anyone nor left her duty. It is her personal life, she do not muddling her personal life with great princess duty.

Chu Zhao had an absolute meltdown. It is like 3-4 different things happening at the same time and she was completely fuming.

Finally airing or they are just playing me like a fiddle again?

Never get tired with Yan Fang and Deng Yi bickering lol

This drama already half way when The first jasmine airing. Sadly but airing dramas tend to overshadow each other. That's why airing time is important.
