6. ML and SML got enough of FL and form brotherhood. It is BL drama all along.

Production team doing a bad job. Complete disservice for so many actors in this drama. IDK if they lack of budget or just incompetent. Every second editing of this drama is hit or miss. Sometimes it is cool than become lackluster abruptly than become cool again.

I think it is made for young demographic. The way how writing have little weight. It is more spectacles than anything. Presentation also a little bit childish. Nothing wrong with that, kids and teens needs entertainment too.

People said it is looks like Power Rangers, probably that was the intention with color coded main characters and different kind of power.

It is so uncommon for Emperor to sick and die. Chinese Emperor is not just idling, they are doing a job night and day. Either reading documents and approving an order. Not mentioned high stress to maintain the order. Also back than, there were many diseases that incurable by ancient medicines.

But I think it is just convenient to create a conflict and make a way in drama for new character to rise.

Ep 1 still looks weird. It should be pilot episode that hook people in. You can compare ep 1 to latest ep, it was too bright and it looks awful.

Surprising it turn out quite good after several ep. Color grading and lightning are way better later on.

It is tropes and cliche you seen so many times. Also Cdramas reuses lot of asset , wardrobe and setting. It give so many familiar feels.

Probably Youku pissed with production company for doing poor job.

Probably just directors not good enough . So many Marvel or Star Wars movies also sucks and they spend hundred million on it. Things happens.

Yeah. That's vibe they gonna go. This drama is more like slice of life romance comedy. Revenge plotline is going to be soft undertone.

IDK about Dilraba in this one. She smile too much and her acting looks unnatural. Dubbing also makes it worse. Gong Jun also do not work as timid character. He should play edgy and calculated character like WKX. My guess rating will be low on Douban consider MDL always been way more forgiving. Also I think An Le as a pirate should have more edgy costume and hairstyle but it is boring one.

About storyline, it is kinda bit meh so far. I am expecting better for revenge plotline but the way they handle Ren An Le past already a sign what drama we will get. Everything is weak.

I binged Destined and I enjoyed that one better right from ep1.

It is idol drama. What do you expect really?

I watched lot of Cdramas. CGI never get better after ep1 debut.

It is remains same or worse.

My guess 8.2 - 8.3. So far not outstanding, not awful as well. Mediocre drama but main cast acting well.

At least they fix the sub. Thanks God it was awful.

Probably that's what they intended. Seems it is historical comedy or slice of life after all. The cover already reflect that, light colorful tone. I just think too much.

Enjoy the show.

I feel like FL family massacre is weak. It should be really dark moment with build up but instead they just fast forward it. Than everything just go full comedy and funny.

This drama just way too emphasis on romance.

It is an air force in my language translation. Clearly zero efforts with sub. I think they confuse their self because " Air " in my language means " water "

I hope they fix it.
