WRTW have low ratings on Douban just so ridiculous. It is the most watched Cdrama on Netflix and rating also high there. I don't get Douban , it feels like too much drama, toxicity and fan wars. Western shows in general do not have of that. People just rating it because they like or dislike it.

It is not finished yet but so far it is good. Never dull moments.

It is amazing drama. Drama that already considered classic by so many people. Love story between FL and ML is so sophisticated and elegant. All characters are so good and iconic. Storyline is fantastic and so unpredictable. Even six years later, not much drama can be topped it.

When you watch something so awesome that it makes everything else boring in comparison afterward. Not only drama but everything I watch, western movies, anime or whatever. I still remains on the TTEOTM mountain.

I think it is brilliant they changed tone. While their romance was fluffy and funny but such thing can't be last forever. People don't remain immature forever. FL and ML are married couple and they need to step up their life. This drama show the most humanistic characteristic of being married couple. They still have each other to endure hardship to building their family and reputation, it is the most matured way of romance and love.

It started as life of slice, light romance and comedy but do not let that fools you. This drama is worth it.

Yes. it was miscast. Ren Min is way better for serious role.It wasted her acting skill for idol drama.

Xiao Zhan is such a big name with biggest fan base . No wonder people have their own favorite actress to pairing with him. I have my pick as well, Zhao Ye or Sun Zhenni. Especially Zhenni, she is passionate and have facial feature that will compliment XZ. But well it is what it is. Just enjoy the show, Ren Min will prove people wrong.

I am not said I am dislike it. But it needs to have something fresh or new gimmick on storyline. This kind of romance can get old really fast without anything to spice it up

It is not bad but master and student romance are so overdone. They need to think else or have some interesting gimmick in the story. Ten Miles already done a student master romance better than anything came after it. That was 6 years ago.

This drama ruined The Longest Promise for me. I think we should have another innovative drama like TTEOTM instead another Xianxia with same tropes again. Mind you, TLP is not bad but story and tropes are bored me, student and master again bleah. Those drama prolly will be received better if released in 2021, idk why delayed so long. They need to take a hint already from TEOTM and TSL, we need more innovation.
