What's everyone favourite arc in ranking order so far? Here's mines:1. 30,000 years ago life2. Shifu (sect leader)…
I've been pondering on this for the past few days and this how I have it for now: 1. Shifu Arc ( It was the best life time in terms of comedy but also Chu Kong retaining his memories and teasing Xiaoxiang will always get to me) 2. 30,000 years ago ( I was hesitant since this plot was newly added but this arc helped to explain the time loop theory, which I heavily enjoyed piecing together. Plus, young love Chu Kong is the cutest. And Cang Hai slayed in her red outfits!) 3. Demon Arc (The costumes say it all LOL) 4. Lu Chang Kong (Honestly, this was my favorite arc in the novel but it was too draggy in the drama. I couldn't feel the full impact of LCK's undying love for XY. But the snow trauma still hits hard. 😢) 5. Princess & General 6. Animal Arc (I loved how they still took a nap together although they were still technically strangers to each other)
5&6 actually tie for me because they were so short it's hard to compare. If I could, I'd rather add the parts of them in the Heavenly Realm as a lifetime lol. Seeing their relationship develop each time they return is the best. ❤️
Even if the kisses in here aren't passionate, I'm glad we still get them. But after watching Ep.34 today, I think this show has taken forehead kisses and forehead touches to a deeper level. I find them more meaningful between Chu Kong and Xiangyun. Anytime Chu Kong feels troubled or relieved from the stressful burdens, Xiangyun is always there to constantly be by his side. Chu Kong's gone through a lot and each forehead touch always makes me teary because that's the few times we'll see his vulnerability. I'm glad he's found refuge in Xiangyun. I don't want this to end yet! 😭

I was wondering for a split second where you were in the comments for today. I didn't realize you changed your profile picture. I love it! I was still used to the cute Tian Yao. lol
The story is getting so good I didn't even realize we're on Ep.32. I just check in daily for 2 episodes lol. The cliff hanger for 32 with the music was good! I loved how she slowly removed the mask yet he didn't even flinch.

Yes I did too. The bickering part is what I enjoyed reading. The drama is still good on its own. Some details from the novel would have been more fun to keep.
haha glad to see you're having such a blast watching it
No worries! Ever since I watched him in TRoTAR, I've became a huge fan. He's the best with expressing through eyes. That's what caught my attention. I understand about Esther's voice but I didn't mind it. If you can get past it, tge drama is a sweet watch.

The beginning of ROATF was fine then it got draggy. One thing I've found constant is DYX and his acting. The script may not be the best at times but he still delivers with what he's got it and it really shines.

Huge DYX fan here! Lan_Lan is right. Moonlight is a good one! That and Intense Love. Most of his dramas haven't disappointed actually. Romance of a Twin Flower was the only drama of his I had a harder time watching.
I'm catching up with the latest episodes but I seriously love the parallels. On top of that, I'm also intrigued with the time loop theory. The detailing of this is great. I love seeing them move forward to see everything in the past unfold.
Could anyone who's read the novel tell me how closely they follow it? I've read a small number of chapters and…
They've changed a lot. They still use the overall idea of the novel but certain things have been altered. The drama has new things such as extra side characters like Prince Xiuming and the 30,000 years storyline. Chu Kong is an Ancient God of War instead of being a star.
