This is my first time watching her in a drama too. So luckily, I can go in with an unbias mindset. She's definitely improving compared to the beginning of the show but it's not even bad to where I find unbearable. It's great to see how much this means for YCY. I'm happy she got to be paired with someone like DYX.

Awww, Ding Yuxi and YCY on their live stream today were so precious. She broke down due to worries that many won't watch this because of her. Ding Yuxi sat there consoling her, reassured her, and even stopped the livestream. We didn't have any episodes today, but they both care so much for the show and each other. I love YCY and DYX's off screen friendship. Honestly, the show is getting better and even as someone who read the novel, the drama is just as fun. I get excited waking up everyday to catch the new episodes and enjoy seeing their development. I hate to see them go through this. I care just as much for the show. I just want to give them *hugs*. ❤️❤️

I read the novel and loved it. But I can agree with you too. There are certain things in the drama I dont like newly added. However, the way they're taking the route of the story is quite interesting. And if the time loop theory is correct, I might have to give the drama an extra liking. I also enjoy the drama versions comedy. It's just as funny. 😂

I'm really in love with all the detailing. That martial art practice sequence was beautifully shot and done with such grace from our leads. Very pleasing to the eyes.

Today we get closer shots of Chu Kong's grand blue outfit which is detailed with what looks like constellations on his sleeves. Plus he lives in Star Platform in the Heaven realm. Although he's Ancient God of War, I like the recurring theme and tribute to the constellation concept.

Yes! I love how in sync they are with every reaction. I laughed out loud when they high fived seeing XX choose Shifu. And to think these 2 will technically be in-laws. 🤣🤣

That's most likely it. All a big misunderstanding caused by the big bad wolf who we have yet to really notice. But if this follows the time loop theory then this tribulation test is a big deal.
