now i can see why the ratings kinda went down, haha not sooo bad, as I won't give up on our main leads yet since…
Exactly, communication is the word and common sense as well. XY knows NX is up to no good and hanging around CY, yet he allowed CY to hear NX version of their past instead of coming clean first if he has nothing to hide. Did he stupidly think that NX won't tell CY anything or that CY won't feel anything even hearing all these? He chose to not update CY that the emperor wouldn't see him and instead again concentrate on discussing on the assassins, is there so much to talk about except for the symbol etc. that he had no time to update CY about the situation of his arranged wedding? And there are 24 hours a day and CY have to chance upon the exact moment XY and hugging and holding hands on 2 occasions - this I absolutely hate.
The hooded man, he didn't need the stone to foresee that XY would buy books for CY, and because of that the aunt would mention about his brother having these books as well leading to them finding the stuff causing the conflict. How did the hooded man get these stuff even?
Enjoy! I just completed it last evening in 5-6 days. If you can get pass the first few episodes it'll be great…
Lol, continue if you have nothing else to invest your time on... if not you still got 30+ episodes to go and the final episodes are not too good either, very last episode is nice though.
Just binge watched episode 24-28, it's a roller coaster ride of being mainly angry, some sweet and funny moments. They must add a big "misunderstanding" to the tag above, like CY I can also foresee the future, that a 35 episodes drama is bound to have misunderstanding plots... even though expected, cannot help but feel frustrated when they try to force misunderstandings and worse still, downright conflict between the leads. Thanks for this after a few episodes of fillers. WTH
I have up and down moments with The Sleepless Princess until episode 28, damn, you are damn good at making people…
I was watching the beginning of episode 27 and had to stop to rest cos it is just so frustrating to see them force the misunderstanding plot. Would have dropped it if not for having invested so much. Now I have to calm myself down first before continuing.
Seeing her crying face EP14-19, I understood why they casted her. I want to hold her cute face and tell her everything…
Gosh, have to brace myself to be sad for her then... :,( Only thing is that it is 59 episodes and not really into the Chinese fantasy/magical fantasy genre...
Thanks, that great. Maybe I'll start this to see her in a different light after Intense Love. Like watching her in the behind the scenes and entertainment vids.
Saw a bit of this when it just started airing but saw the number of episodes and decided not to invest. One thing that still interests me, how is Zhang Yu Xi in it so far?
I completed "In a class of her own" so caught episode 23 late. Agree on the filler scenes, really evident when…
Now that you mentioned the assassins disappearing with a smoke bomb... that's so 80s! Lol. I almost rolled my eyes for that. I don't see anymore contents to fill up 11 more episodes now that it seems that all cards are on the table...

Yeah, I think many of us expected this to happen from the start - with such a plot and 35 episodes. I agree maybe 24-30 episodes is just alright, with ep 1-18 keeping us interested and the remaining to close the main plot now almost everything is out in the open. These C-Drama have a common problem of adding a misunderstanding or problem uncalled for nearing the end after the leads become a couple - just to tell us that they needed some hardships to know the worth of their relationship. Often it is the other way round, the relationship seemed tainted after these hardships. Not sure why they never learn what we want, there is reason why a drama like Love o2o is so popular.
Tonyt's ep 23-24, to be honest i only enjoyed like 30% of it. I din like Na xi. N there seems to b more filler…
I completed "In a class of her own" so caught episode 23 late. Agree on the filler scenes, really evident when you realised that you can multitask while watching (look at MDL on the phone at the same time) and not miss much. Character development is a bit rough, with the emperor and now Na Xi. I went to bed w/o watching ep 24 since I was yawning alot during 23.
