After listening to the comments here, I only watched till episode 23 and I loved this series!!! I was only here for the romance of the main couple and that was amazing, they had soooo much chemistry and it was so sexy!! The female lead was strong and never let him walk over her, the male lead acted tough but was a sweetie and treated FL right, so I am giving it 9/10 romantic rating!
I liked the chemistry between the leads, I liked the intensity and steamy kisses. Every time I thought the ML was gonna be a red flag he ended up being green. I liked the premise and I liked the romance but the conflict and conflict resolution definitely needed more time and he shouldve groveled. Basically, I wanted to like this movie more than I actually did so I also have a lof of like for the potential it had. Nonetheless, I appreciated the movie bc it is hard to find these kind of romanes and rn the good outweighs the bad for me in this genre.
I cried through over half of the movie, but it was a good cathartic cry. But I would have probably broken something if this wasn't a happy ending. It was very romantic, but in a "real love is THIS hard" way. There was no fluff, but beautiful angst which is only felt because the actors are so amazing at expressing with only their eyes. So this review is for sensitive watchers like me, if you are in the mood for A LOVE that two people are doing their best to give to each other when outside forces are tearing them apart, then I recommend it!

okay so I finished it and that bitch Sae got some karma but she deserved something much worse in a petty way the movie was way too overdramatic, it was cute but not swoonworthy, I did not care who she chose bc they both seemed like decent guys but still happy with who she ended with, but the movie was a tough watch with the cringe still.
This show needed at least two more episodes where they both have some meaningful communication because I feel like nothing was really resolved in the ending. That said, this show had the best, most hottest chemistry between the main leads ever which makes it worth the watch.
Everyone is hating on the historical timeline, which I understand I skipped all that in the beginning too. Still, they definitely made it more interesting in episodes 10 and 11, the main couple was cute in the beginning but got boring really fast so the historical plot added some much-needed angst to the show which I believe will ultimately make the love story better.

Y'all are tripping, if all these people rated it 9.2 then it's 9.2 (at least according to audience reviews) I feel like this show resonated with a lot of different audiences, it obviously seemed to reach a lot of people emotionally plus the genre this show is in naturally makes it more appealing universally. Also, it was one of the very very few dramas that stood out THIS year because it managed to go viral on tiktok. The rating might still change if more people watch it and rate it differently, but in 2023, this score is valid. I think it's weird you are critiquing a score that is obviously based on public opinion lol
