Absolutely did not buy that Phob was dead, which pretty much ruined the last episode for me. In my opinion...overall, the show started off really strong but felt a bit weak towards the last episodes. The leads were great throughout but some of the other actors did not deliver very convincing performances (the grandma) and/or had to work with very one dimensional characters (they did Pond dirty by limiting his acting range...although I'm sure it was fun to play Chat). And I don't understand the choice not to pursue the connection between Siri and Jan further. So, yes, I am a bit disappointed but I still think the show is very much above average thanks to the leads, a fairly solid plot (+ learning about history) and characters we get attached to.
anybody knows (or has an idea of where I could find info on) filming locations for this show? in particular the…
nevermind, i should've asked TikTok first — for those interested, it seems that scenes in the mountains were filmed in Yunnan province (of course) and more specifically around Lincang. ♥️
This was pure ragebaiting because wdym they all DIVED into ridiculously dangerous situations and have not done any proper police work in this episode 😑 I'm still here for it though! I cannot wait for the last episode!!
Happy New Year to the amazing soul who owns and updates this list!!! For me, this is the best way to stay on top of new releases so THANK YOU so much for your work 🙏
I got that is was Van's old phone but I didn't get what Farm found in it that made him mad? I guess we're meant to understand he is reading Mai and Van's conversation live because Van's 2 phones are synced but that's quite confusing...
So many things to say - not enough time to type it out. Firstly that necklace? Is that lock and chain meant to…
I CACKLED at your first point...the necklace was comedy gold 🤣 and I agree with the rest 😩 but, I can't explain why, I still want to continue and get to the point where all of these misunderstandings get cleared up. I guess not knowing the ins and outs of the misunderstanding keeps me on edge somehow?
I can’t keep up with the character’s names. They’re not here also in mdl. So the policeman is not dead?…
Ta Khuean is the gambler and he IS the person mentioned at the end of the latest episode. The local cop talking to Sing and King mentions that he might have had an affair with the nurse, Chaba, that was previously mentioned as the wife of another cop. This other cop had been stabbed and had decided to start the killings to survive and save his son. He is said to be dead but I assume it is incorrect (I think everyone feels Aisoon, the master of Santi Tham House, is suspicious...but it might be a red herring).
Chaba is also the ghost that keeps on trying to interfere with the investigation. Rather than a victim of her husband, she is probably working with him from beyond the grave (would make sense...she could have "sacrificed" herself in her own way to keep her son alive).
Mek, the cop working on the case under King and Sing, I'm not sure what makes hum suspicious. He was attacked by the ghost as mentioned by another comment.
We haven't yet explored how Thup is connected to this but I'm sure he is (why would he dream about the bodies in the tree...that's originally why he got involved in all of this + we don't know why he was "abandoned" to live with a Monk as a child + he keeps referring to the fact that the son of the killer is his age).
I want to finish the puzzle but I know there are pieces missing + we've been fed red herrings. CAN'T WAIT TO KNOW MORE.
As often for JBLs, this needed to be fleshed out into more episodes...the sudden confession and intimate scenes in the second half of the last episode felt very rushed. Nothing organic, no true emotion, very empty. It goes in the "disappointing ending" pile. It's particularly frustrating since I was really enjoying the show up until that point.
i just checked Kemjira new ep and its 2 hours long, i cant help but hope they will surprise us with a 2 hour ep…
I KNEW I made the right choice watching ABO Desire BEFORE watching Khemjira today. After ABO Desire = cranky. After Khemjira = life is worth living again.
