Because normally I can watch the Youku dramas on the Youku channel under/on YouTube. I sub. the Youku channel via YT so I pay the sub. fee to YT. I also sub. WeTV via YT for the same reason.
Is this drama available on Youku app?

There is no misunderstanding in this drama, just unfortunate circumstances. Also this drama doesn't drag, moving from solving crime case to case. The drama is not perfect by all standards but it's easy to follow, very "grounded", no fillers. I'm at EP 29 and 7 more episodes left.

Yeah, this is a low budget production so we don't see idol actors casting. I actually like this drama very much, very "grounded", not much fillers and grandiose scenes.

That long dialogue delivered by Hu Bing Qing, FL, to 2nd ML is excellent, in which she expresses what kind of life-long partner she desires. Her line delivery was great because I listened to her long line of dialogue without needing to read the subtitle.

"unpretentious" is the word I want to use to describe this drama as well. I also like the ML's personal servant who provides some comedic moments. I'm on EP13 and EP12 is very fast pacing and entertaining!
