You target comments that have even mildly negative opinions about the character of an actor you're obsessed with, how is that not unhinged? You have no issues with people talking all kind of things about the FL, that's not disrespectful to you. But someone defending the FL by pointing out the MLs flaws is disrespectful? Not sure that you're aware the actor is not the same thing as his characters. No one needs to like my 'long write up' on Jiang Xu, I stated my opinion here just like everybody else. What do you mean? If she's superficial, the ML is just as superficial. He heard her checklist and he found it endearing, he rushed to propose. He likes her as she is, cute, immature, spoiled but kinda aware of her surrounding and overall well meaning. He's not that exceptional either. There's no depth to either of them so they make a good pair outside of poor communication.

She gets too much hate for sure, but not rush to call her smart. She was...clever in certain regards, while not the brightest in others. She's...average and that's ok.

Low? It seems like a fair rating. It wasn't a fantastic drama but overall decently entertaining. Some characters kinds of mediocre, some pretty great. The friendships were the best part of the drama. Funny silly moments combined but light political drama. Not one of the worst dramas I've seen but not the best either. 8.2/10 seems pretty fitting to me and again, it's not a low rating.

I don't love the FL but I don't understand why everyone turns a bling eye to the ML? He doesn't communicate, he keeps her in the dark, he lets her misunderstand a lot on purpose, he rarely expresses affection. Why would she trust him? In fact, he kinds trusts him too much. We know he's good, but why would she? They barely interact. Anywho.

I'm not a fan of the FL but also not a fan of the ML. He was such a bad communicator and constantly lets her misunderstand things. Like why on earth would he not tell her Yun Yi is her guard and not a concubine, there's literally no good reason for that expect to draw out conflict between them. They are a very immature pair. Like a couple who meets in junior high-school and are attracted to each other and do love each other and try to protect each other but in a weak, superficial way. Their love story wasn't convincing at all but they writing and directing are too blame for this one, even if their acting skills are not top notch, I don't think we can blame the actors very much.

I though the ML wasn't great amazing either. He was so bland. He was also a terrible communicator. About the FL, she's just super immature and childish but I don't think she has a bad heart, it's all coming from lack of life experience and she seems very young on top of being inexperienced. The writing on the characters just wasn't great. They didn't show us when they fell in love. One moment they married skeptically, the other moment she was trying to seduce him and he had already fallen for her? When? They just showed us flashbacks from her tripping-falling or in danger and he kept rescuing her. And one moment when she left him for dead while injured lmao. Anyways.

On Viki people kept complaining about the FL but the ML was just as mediocre, c'mon. The actors of the mains are beautiful and cute, but their characters are super bland and boring. I haven't seen them in anything else so not sure if their acting skills are too blame on top of the writing and directing. In that respect, they match each other very well. The side characters and couples were really fun though, loved them. The drama was not very well written, there was no chemistry between the main leads but it still managed to be entertaining overall, it was good enough for a cutesy drama.

These weekly releases are like a form of torture.

Really love the soundtrack, it makes me feel the show was made for me.
