Moon Lee looks convincing as a 17 year old. Her best friend not as much but she doesn't look 40+. Ko Chia Yen looks even older than she really is. When I saw her in the first episodes I genuinely thought she's in her late 40s. So I guess my question should be rephrased as why did they hire an actress who looks in her late 40s to play the role of a 25 year old?
Starting the second part and I'm starting to feel a disconnect from part one because of Ko Chia Yen. Why did they hire a 40-year old actress to play the part of a 20 something year old? That would've been fine if everybody else was aged but they aren't.
I would love to, unfortunately it seems it's been deleted :(. I read the translation on AOO a few weeks ago but it's no longer there. Most likely the whomever posted it was hit with a copyright claim and had to delete it. But I hope we will get an official English translation.

Lu Zhen could have chosen to cut Fan Xiao from his life as soon as he felt things were heading in a different direction. When one of my friends started being really 'flirty' with me while I was in a relationship, I just stopped seeing them and I told my partner about what happened. But I was indeed older. However I still felt bad for Lu Zhen, most people would fall for Fan Xiao's trap.
Setting aside that the kiss was very tame considering the earlier tension and the spiciness of the manga, what on earth was going on with the blur in this scene? It was so weird and unnecessary. I'm still obsessed with the drama overall though, probably because of Yasu. He was spectacular as both Enaga and AE.
I though the ML wasn't great amazing either. He was so bland. He was also a terrible communicator. About the FL,…
A parasocial relationship is a one-sided, emotional connection with a public figure, like a celebrity or influencer, who is unaware of the individual's existence. Which is exactly what you have with Weilong. I am rude because you were rude in the first place. You can have a taste of your own medicine. Emotionally you are a kid because grown ups realize that actors are just doing their jobs and that characters are not real people. If you knew you wouldn't get triggered when someone doesn't like a character performed by an actor you stan. And don't start generalizing about international fans. Your beef is with me.
