I kind of agree. I had high hopes but this felt flat. The characters felt two dimensional. I found it difficult to relate. I don’t want to take away from the cast’s talent but this script felt like a draft. It needed a bit of tweaking ya know?

I see the rating is going up, rightfully so. In good conscience, I couldn't give it less than 10 stars.. What a beautifully told story.

she’s not bad at all imo. her acting style and appearance reminds me of the lead in lovely runner.

I've been putting it off for some reason for a while. Two episodes in and I really like it. Super cute.

I don't know if you watched a show called The Haunting of Hill House on Netflix. It reminds me of Light Shop, not because of the story, but more so due to it's clever writing, double meaning and hints in random scenes and dark visuals. I can't wait to rewatch it once it's all out. I think I will notice more things that I missed first time around.

Does anyone have any other recommendations similar to this show? I feel a slump coming after I finish this. I've already watched Strangers from Hell and Sweet Home, so no need to recommend those.

I feel the same way about the main couple. For me, their relationship came out of nowhere and nowhere near developed enough. It's a shame, cause I think with better writing, this could have been great.

I’m all caught up and I’m finishing it just to finish it and appropriately rate it. It’s not great, as you said cringe at time. I find the story boring and the characters feel very two dimensional. A few people here commented that they loved the leads’ chemistry, however I may be missing something here, cause I just don’t see it.

That last scene in episode 4, where the girl tells her mother that she smells like flowers, and then is followed up by scene of her mother in a casket broke my heart.

Totally agree! I haven't watched a series that captivated me this much in ages. The characters, setting and plot are incredible. It draws you in. It's an 8.5 for me so far.
