I completely agree with you. I teared up at that conversation because it moved me so much, and I felt so represented (for the lack of a better word). It definitely inspired me.

Couldn't agree more on J dramas; they always take so little & give you so much in return. They constantly draw me in, one after the other, for their how real & simple they are. Sakamato Yuji, especially, is a master of his art. He always knows how to write in such a way that you relate to & feel the pain of each character. Complex, intricate & fragile, yet simple.

Usually most fan subbers sub each week (at least for majority of the dramas I'm currently watching) but sometimes they can be slower due to personal circumstances. Blitz was unwell, thus the delay.

All I know is that now they have stopped removing credits because a lot of subbers dropped dramas in the past because they refuse to put the credits. A lot of the older dramas don't have credits on them.

I definitely lost love for him in this episode. I really dislike it when people go into a relationship with someone knowing very well that they like another. It must have hurt Towako to be in such a one-sided relationship & to think she has a kid with him. Sigh.

Also Kagome. Go for it! I am so glad she started drawing again. Finally a character vocalizing that not wanting to be in a relationship doesn't have to stem from some kind of trauma or abnormality. There's nothing wrong with being lonely sometimes & one doesn't need to be in a relationship to take away that loneliness. We don't always have to run from loneliness. So much love and respect to Kagome for embracing that.

Towako is an awesome friend! I'd love to have a friend like her. YAY for female friendships :)

E4. Kagome is HANDS DOWN my favourite character in this drama. I freaking love her & teared up because I related to her so much. Her friendship with Towako is so precious & I want to see more of these two women & their friendship.
Sakamato Yuji knows how to hit you where it hurts. What a genius!
Gonna be repetitive here, but I really enjoy how they collaborate with a different rapper each week for the ending song, it is so so refreshing. I never skip it.

6.9 seriously?!
This was adorable through and through. A really entertaining and heartwarming drama with sweet and endearing characters. It made me laugh so much. There was not a single dull moment. The brothers may be overprotective, but they're not evil. I freaking LOVED this family and all the characters.
Don't judge based on the first two episodes. Watch it for what it is and you'll come to love and enjoy this simple sweet story.

Have you seen Stairway to Heaven? Shin Hye had scenes with Lee Wan the first few episodes (very similar to this one). The director saw their chemistry in that & casted them for this drama.

I really liked Kou Kou Kyoushi (1993) but yeah I know it's not a drama for everyone. That OST is one of my favourites!
I plan to watch the 2003 version soon :)

So the fact that he isn't in financial difficulty is what I find unrealistic, because Tokyo is a very expensive city & the way he works I honestly don't think he earns much. But ok it's such a small quibble I have with this drama.
