Unlike other Asian dramas, Japanese dramas are fan subbed. The subber is doing us a service by subbing it for…
I don't think that Asian audiences do not know / do not watch Japanese dramas. On MDL itself, I see constant stereotyping of J dramas being anime-like or J actors not knowing how to act. Like so many people see 1 bad J drama or 1 drama with anime-like acting, and they brand all J dramas to be like that. These kind of comments can be found on so many pages unfortunately. Like people have an image of Japanese dramas being bad. It bothered me so much when I was new here, but now I am used to it.

Title Heaven?
I'd like to try it. Do you know where I can find all the subs? I only see up to epi 8
You can get it from the subber's comment below.

I must admit that as much as I love the 2 pairings & the 4 main characters, I wasn't feeling this show much in E5/E6, but I loved E7. Maybe it's the more introspective & heavier tone that the show took, which for me really did justice to the juncture we're at. I think I can finally see where this show is trying to go (which wasn't clear to me the past few episodes). In essence, it's a journey of self-love & growth.

Meguru is so precious. He is so innocent & warm in a way that we're only used to seeing female characters on TV be. I love how Yuu Tan was like I'll destroy you, and Meguru is like I'm not even well-known enough so how will you do it & Yuu Tan couldn't answer LMAO. Wise people were not wrong when they said kill them with kindness :)
I really disliked Yuu Tan at the beginning of the episode, but felt a lot of empathy for him by the end of the episode. Everybody is trying their very best, and struggling in their own ways, regardless of how they appear which brings me to that line Asahi said casually about how you won't know someone unless you speak to them.

The way Wako came around to realising that protecting Meguru isn't about stopping him from going out of his comfort zone for the fear of danger, rather it is being by his side when he needs the comfort, was BEAUTIFUL. How is their relationship so much more real, wholesome & beautiful than actual romance-centric dramas?

So many amazing quotes this episode, "the heart of a person is not one colour", "you can always aim for the cool visual you want to be" etc
I could go on but in essence I love the theme of self love that was so so beautifully portrayed in this episode. I think it was my favourite episode so far.

Kira & Asahi continue to charm me with their interactions. They're surprisingly mature, despite appearing childish at times, esp Kira. That scene of them at the press conference was EVERYTHING gosh I love them so much *fangirls*

The leads are adorable & endearing in similar ways. This is shaping up to be a cute little rom com & that role reversal is refreshing. The gap between Takamine's inner voice & outer voice is huge & just so hilarious. I can't get used to it, and it amazes me all the way till the 6th episode hehe
YOWAAAAAAAAKI KUNNNNNNNNN XD

It's taking a century to finally see that fourth episode get subbed. I should learn better not to watch airing…
FYI the subber has been subbing this every week, and it's subbed till E6.

Streaming sites don't update regularly, so it's best to watch from the subber's site. All the pages on MDL always have a comment listing who the subber is.

Title Love Letter
This was really bittersweet. I can see why this is such a classic. Iwai Shunji is a legend, PERIOD. A rare 10/10 from me for this masterpiece.

May i ask where did you find the subbed version if you don't mind?I could only find 3 subbed eps..
They are all fan-subbed, and subbers do try their best to sub weekly (at least for majority of the currently airing ones that I'm watching)

Title Why I Dress Up for Love Spoiler
Some things I'd love to point out -I appreciate how they handled the whole issue with the pregnancy. It was done…
Exactly, I'm looking forward to see where they go with their relationship. To be honest, I empathize with Shun. I don't think he lacks the goal, it's more like he gave up on trying to be ambitious because of the failure & setback. I do hope he will be able to overcome that & work towards his goal without any regret.

Btw I recently started studying again, and I'm pursuing Psychology as my 2nd degree. Nice to meet you hehe

I'm glad you enjoy my comments, thank you :)

Ahh Shun >
There's this drama called Kokoro no Kizu wo Iyasu to Iu Koto, where the male lead is a psychiatrist. It's a really powerful and tender drama on mental health. Do check it out.
