this video you shared just edited a reuter video (qiushui angrily destroying the carriage) with LCZ & shirong's…
kinda thought this but it's really weird that they name crazy yan as li chenzhou's dad in the casting when they shouldn't have... ppl are gonna now assume that he's the father of him here in the drama if they see that... would've been nice if they did add this since it was originally from the novel tho but it's not bad either way
And yeah, I know about the scene where Qiushui actually destroys the carriage during Li Chenzhou and Shirong's death. It's a shame they didn't show that he was in the scene when he actually was!!! I saw this on twitter earlier today
It's honestly so weird that they decided not to show us scenes of Qiushui trying to save General Wu and the process of it all. It really made the scene less engaging idk... I just know we would be feeling it more if they had shown those!
I just hate that we never get to see Qiushui's reactions at all of Li Chenzhou and Shirong dying like he never questioned it IN THE DRAMA? Not even Crazy Yan's? It's weird that no one questioned about Crazy Yan's death at all after he died tho, that is so out of character/plot!
I was like in Ep.38 a couple days ago and saw that Crazy Yan was listed as Chenzhou's father so I was gonna ask, do they really reveal it that he is the father? Cuz to me it would feel so forced into the storyline. So instead of asking, I decided to wait and see it for myself.... and nope, they don't show it. What a waste. I believe there is even a scene before Li Chenzhou's death where Qiushui cries and shouts out to him that Crazy Yan is his father but... idk why they removed such a scene 😭😭😭😭 Here it is below (look through the whole thread). Its such a shame we didn't get to hear Qiushui calling Li Chenzhou master and even more so mourn for his death like wthhh???? He never even questioned where he was in the end at all IN THE DRAMA, it's so disappointing 😩😤😔😑
As far as I watched (up to ep 27), I don't understand this low rating. Is it because of the ending, or were there…
I thoroughly enjoyed most up of the drama. That was up until they started to show the main villain more in the last episodes. So many bad things happen bc of him but they were executed so badly and felt so forced into the storyline too like I feel like the production crew was just forcing for these things to happen and idk why. Bc some of the most powerful and smart ppl lose against him and become weak, which makes no sense esp bc they are so smart yet get tricked so easily or they are not powerful enough to defeat someone like him? Anyways, the ending was utterly disappointing for me and many others... bc things happened way too fast and way too sudden and there was not enough time for us to process it. Not enough time or even screentime for the characters to process it either. Anyways for me most of the drama was really enjoyable up until maybe Ep.32. But I'd say Eps 34, 36, and 39 were mostly very satisfying (and I just know its cuz the villain was barely ever shown in those episodes lmao). So at least most eps were good. Some of the last ones were just so bad that I felt like I was forcing myself to watch some of them.I just have to skip or fastforward most of the villain's scenes bc of this. So I'll just give you a heads up on that. The ending could change your mind esp with how they didn't fully wrap things up but let us not forget all of the enjoyable moments we witnessed and experience in these past episodes 👐🏻❤️
I did bump my rating down a little bit bc of how they executed the ending but I would not rate the drama so low bc of that bc I really did enjoy most of the drama. I just wish they didn't rush and force things to happen. They also cut many important scenes too which did make editing also feel very choppy so there's that I guess. Many fans have been demanding the team to reedit them back in like yes we need them so bad! 😭😭😭 Once you know what scenes they are, you'll understand what I mean 😩
Also to tell you the truth the rating has been stuck at 8.0 and switching back and forth with 7.9 throughout most of the drama's airing so most of this rating definitely wasn't bc of the ending but bc of lots of trolls 🤦🏻♀️
Worst possible and worst way they can execute a drama's ending like what were the production crew thinking when giving us this ending with so many sudden deaths within 5 episodes???? Making the deaths way too easy and they don't even give enough time for the characters to even mourn for them (or don't even show them mourning for them like wthhhh) 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ A lot of the deaths made no sense whatsoever bc some smart and powerful ones just die that easily after living/scheming/winning fights for so long against their enemies? Drama is great but the ending is a big no-no
Since the beginning, the complete ending I had in my mind was Qiushui waking up and tearing up seeing Tang Xu (Tang Rou) bc of how much he loved, missed, and cherished him throughout his whole experience in the martial world. But also where the 3 friends in Shenzhou Sword Brotherhood in the novel end up being the same 3 friends in the real life world just with their memories erased... but their memories being gained back when they come back to the real world... because I had interpreted in the drama that Qiushui was Mingming because of the system connecting his character to his real body.... like it happens to be that people's bodies in the novel are connected to the real world... Imma just interpret it that way cuz they kinda indicated that Mingming was both Mingming and Qiushui merged. And then we see OG Shenzhou Sword Brotherhood talking about their days in the novel and hanging out together after all that lol
Omg, I'm on the same page with you! I really wished they had focused more on Power Gang as much as they did on…
Unfortunately, I don't know where the clip is... I've only seen people talk about how he is seen playing the guzheng in the end... I wanna find out where that clip is too. Maybe I'll try finding it later
Omg, I'm on the same page with you! I really wished they had focused more on Power Gang as much as they did on…
Also I know that Qiushui ACTUALLY lives. That's how it originally was supposed to be (they just deleted the scene where it shows he lives). Anyways, we can just interpret it how we like. I have my own happy ending in my head. Our OG Shenzhou Sworn Brotherhood reunite and Mingming sees Tang Xu after missing him so much and they get their happy ending lol
I’m really satisfied with the fight scenes from start to finish, especially Cheng Yi’s! However, I wish the…
Omg, I'm on the same page with you! I really wished they had focused more on Power Gang as much as they did on Qiushui's side! And I really loved the OG Shenzhou Sworn Brotherhood that they showed in the beginning of the drama that I'm really sad they didn't show them enough later on! Esp when you know all 4 of them were best friends / roommates in the modern world too 😭
My literal wish for the ending was: Qiushui wakes up in the modern world seeing all his 3 friends and tearing up after seeing his friend Tang Rou whom he really loved, missed, and cherished deeply in the martial world but... 😭😭😭
It was at 8 earlier. I think it deserves higher too. 😕 Haven't finished it yet though
I know lol. It has always been 8. Like it went up to 8.2 after drama finished airing (we've seen the drama at its lowest at 7.8 during the airing 😭). Then went down to 8.1 then 8.0... stuck there until now. Disappointing to see it get even lower oof
Wow, 7.9????? You're kidding me 😩🫠 This is way too underrated!!!! No boring moment and the cases are just so good. The fact that they're all connected to the main case too... oh guys, still don't understand how a rating can be so low for a drama this good and intriguing plus the friendship is a bonus!
It was definitely an emotional scene, but it was executed way too fast... everything happened in a whirlwind and…
Yes and the problem I have with this is that these two are so smart. I don't think they could've been tricked that easily. If it were me, I would think about how Kaiyan is so cunning. I would be like, "But what if Kaiyan knows or suspects that we were all luring him to get the tiger token only for it to be fake? He could be planning smth else..." i wish someone was smart enough to catch such a simple thing to prevent these deaths. Like I know this is not Legend of Zanghai but I remember all the times Zanghai was smart enough to find out his enemies' schemes. They really downgraded Power Gang's smartness in the end and it was truly disappointing bc I know in reality they would be as smart as Zanghai esp after making it alive until now. Like I just wanted to see Kaiyan get backfired in the end thinking he knew what he was doing to not getting his desired result. Like how satisfying would that be to see him get his downfall by the smart Power Gang? The execution of their deaths just made no sense for me. At the same time I still really cried a lot but it was just disappointing
Ep.39 was such a good episode except for the last scene (which I spoiled myself of but still felt really sad and upset bc wthhh jdjsjksksks, couldn't writers do any better rlly 😭😭😭 I was prepared but still am disappointed with how they executed it 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️)
I agree sm 😭 i even saw someone say that this drama should have had 60 episodes bc they could've developed…
I am more of the long drama watcher haha I barely ever watch mini dramas bc it's not my cup of tea but I can see why ppl may like them more bc they will get bored of long dramas easily. Thankfully for me I can watch them with no problem (unless its so boring that I needa drop lol)
Yeah ofc Chengyi didn't know they would be cut. It's production crew who decides what to cut. There was even a time where Chengyi said in an interview that he really likes this one scene where it has both LCZ and XQS but I heard that was cut so thats so unfortunate, I'm sure he is disappointed too 😭
You may doubt its bc of bro's scenes but for me they added way too much and could've cut a lot of them out bc it became repetitive and was not needed. They could've easily replaced those scenes with the two Chengyi scenes but they decided not to. Some of these unnnecessary scenes like those should have been our 2 Chengyi scenes instead 😭
I have no hate for the actors. But instead of showing repetitive stubbornness, we should've been seeing more natural character development throughout which would have made the relationship of Yiren and Qiushui flow more naturally if yk what I mean.
Also villain was too annoying that his scenes became so unbearable to watch so I rather they never showed him or at least showed him being beaten up, suffering, and/or killed by those powerful ppl so that he never won and killed so many beloved characters! 😤
That's all I'll say. Overall the drama is a really good and enjoyable watch. I hope production crew listens to the many fans demanding for the reedit of LCZ x XQS scenes cuz no less than 10 very important scenes were cut 😭😩🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
i wish the episode limit wasn't 40 ; even just 2 more eps would help so much 😫😫we couldve got more LCZ screen…
I agree sm 😭 i even saw someone say that this drama should have had 60 episodes bc they could've developed a lot of things more naturally since the pacing is so fast and they introduce new characters rather quickly and ngl I do have to agree with that. The overall drama is so good tho but some of the last episodes pissed me off esp the ones where Kaiyan is shown a lot. I can tell my hate for an episode is always when Kaiyan is there. If he is barely there and we get more of the main cast then I am loving the episodes a lot. But it's a shame we didn't get enough screentime of our Li Chenzhou and Qiushui together, why did they have to delete their most important scenes when they could've cut a lot of the brother scenes instead and replaced them with those 😭 idk what the production team was thinking! And yes so sad Crazy Yan didn't get enough screentime, he was such an amazing character too 😭
Damn the toxicity in a certain comment attacking other actors in the drama because of the agency company decision...I…
Right like it pisses me off so bad omg, why hate the actors for this 😭 (look at the comment right above yours. I ain't replying back to them no more cuz I don't wanna waste my time on them smh)
I am confused... r u complaining about the actors, the characters, or both? Bc it sounds like you hate them both...And…
Wow that's so mean of you. To me they are very interesting characters and the actors themselves portrayed them perfectly. Why do you have to bring hate to them? And it's the director's fault for cutting Qiushui's scenes, not theirs, so why hate them for that? For me, I actually was sad when I realized these two have barely been showing for some time so I was really happy when they started showing them again. Not to mention, they are both considered main characters yet don't get the screentime they deserve considering they are. And Chengyi gets soooo much screentime, so idk why you are complaining about just 1 episode where he wasn't shown as much compared to the other two when he is always shown in the others... All I will say is that you should blame the production crew for this, not the actors themselves who worked hard to portray their characters on screen.
Don't get me wrong, like I love Chengyi, he is one of my most favorite actors ever. And yes I hate the fact that the directors did decide to cut so many Qiushui/Li Chenzhou scenes in the end (I literally demand the production team to reedit the scenes back!) but hating on the actors is just extremely wrong.
Edit: I also just watched most of Ep.39 and love it sooooo much so far. Qiushui was not seen at least once from where I left off which kinda makes me question what the production team did to edit this episode but anyways, I still thoroughly enjoyed what I have watched so far. At least Li Chenzhou was shown. At least it wasn't 0 Chengyi right? 😭 I do hope the production team reedits those important scenes back tho. Just don't bring hate to the actors. Chengyi wouldn't want that cuz I'm sure he really loved working with them too.
So many die so easily I do not understand. They had to make Crazy Yan die so easily when he is known to be the…
I wanna see where all those deleted scenes are. Give me all the reuters if you have them. I've only seen like 2-3 (1 of them being the actual scene teaser of XQS and LCZ) and I heard there's no less than 10 deleted scenes in the end 😭😭😭 I'm really hoping the production team releases these important scenes one day cuz ugh, it's utterly disappointing to see it all end this way! I really wanted to see Qiushui and Li Chenzhou meet for one last time (wait... maybe he's there watching LCZ and Shirong die together...?) and yes I heard they deleted their scenes together in the end which makes me so mad cuz like kjsdfksdhfkj Chengyi worked double the amount for these ones cuz he had to play both characters like why waste his hard work? I don't understand who was so dumb as to delete these when they should've deleted so many Kaiyan scenes instead smh 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Ep.38 truly the most disappointing episode ever 😡😤
So many die so easily I do not understand. They had to make Crazy Yan die so easily when he is known to be the top martial artist fighter in the world???? And why Xueyu like that? She should've just left right after she poisoned Kaiyan, so dumb... and Li Chenzhou, why drink the wine when you know it's already poisoned? Makes no sense to trust an emperor like that. I know he dies with Shirong so it isn't official yet but I am still sad they both die 😩😩😩
Also dramas are so wrong to make ppl die literally one after another out of all the days they live, really wrong and unrealistic 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
And yeah, I know about the scene where Qiushui actually destroys the carriage during Li Chenzhou and Shirong's death. It's a shame they didn't show that he was in the scene when he actually was!!! I saw this on twitter earlier today
