Just watched the trailers for the next episodes and I usually don't and thankfully all that angst is over ksfhksfhkj Qiushui finally becomes the Huanhua Sect leader and what I'm curious about is Liu Suifeng getting kicked out of the Power Gang by the Chief... wonder why that came to be. We'll see tmr!
Watching this for Cheng Yi. Originally, I just wanted to watch Fox Matchmaker but the show never dropped so I…
I agree with you. Now that you say it, we rarely EVER see dramas where the bad guys win. In this drama, it's so different. They don't follow the usual which I love. But I can't wait to see the good guys winning in the end, or maybe this Power Sect isn't as bad as they all say... there seems to be a new REAL villain on the loose so I'm wondering how that's gonna add up to the story... I need to see Li Chenzhou's backstory. I'm really curious why he chose to follow this path. I rlly have a feeling there is smth deep behind it...
Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels the romance is forced (well, technically, there isn't even romance yet actually lol). Them trying to lean into romance a bit (like Tang Fang having some feelings) does feel forced tho just bc Qiushui is showing NO signs whatsoever that he is interested in her (bc he has so many other things to focus on). He is also only protecting her in the first place bc it was Tang Rou's last wish :( Every time he brings it up, not wanting to disappoint him, it makes me miss Tang Rou even more. I wish Tang Rou was still there. I'd be shipping them both even more if he hadn't died so early. Their last moment eye-to-eye, hand-to-hand was just smth... there was so much chemistry in that? Idk how to explain it... but yeah, whenever the director tries to hint some kind of romance, it feels so out of place. Idk how Tang Fang can gain these feelings this fast and they barely spent time together too for it to develop. Qiushui has a lot going on, trying to fix everything and stop all the bad things from happening. He has no time for romance. I can't imagine if romance got in the way for him. Without it feels a lot more natural and more preferred for me.
I dont think so.. they just assumed dead because of the pendant right? Or based on lsf words? Maybe lsf hide them?…
Yeah i hope so. I really thought we wouldn't see any huge conflicts between them after seeing the first few episodes but.... :( let's hope for a redemption arc 😔
I dont think so.. they just assumed dead because of the pendant right? Or based on lsf words? Maybe lsf hide them?…
Yeah they didnt show them dying so i wouldnt have assumed right away unless i saw their bodies 😭 So sad these brothers assume too quickly 😔 i hate the brothers for blaming and physically hurting qiushui ugh
I don't agree with you on JC/Untamed at all.. WTFH are you watching when you were watching the 'The Untamed'...…
You're right, sorry if I offended you 😭😭😭 And I see what you mean. You're right that everything stemmed from jealousy with the both of them. Really sad to see both brothers like this. And for Jiang Cheng, you're right. It doesn't stem from there (demonic cultivation) but he does start to put his anger towards him more after he started using it (as an excuse to pour more hatred towards him). I wrote this in one sitting so I didn't really look back at what I wrote, I'm so sorry 😞🥲
As a huge CQL fan, I am just really sad to be witnessing another person being betrayed by the whole world and only a few friends are by his side including his sister too :( I always wanted to protect my Weiying at all costs and now I want to protect Qiushui at all costs too.
I have yet to watch Ep.18 but wow... betrayal going from left to right. I genuinely feel Yiren was written so terribly. His character feels sooo out of character. He looked like a really good brother but suddenly they make him so bad as to not trust his own brother by blood? He was so happy when he found out he's alive only to what? Betray and hurt him again? Did he never reflect on his regrets? It just feels wrong to me. I will never trust him ever again. What were the writers thinking, it feels out of line with the script 😭 (btw I am only writing this after what ppl are saying about him... I haven't even watched it yet 🫠)
Yeah, Yiren reminds me of Jiang Cheng a lot but Yiren is a lot worse cuz idk his reasoning why he still treats Qiushui like that. While for Jiang Cheng, idk but one of reasons he turned against Weiying is when he started using his flute as a sorcery to fight instead of his sword which was like seen as bad and evil. It's also the fact that Weiying hid why he did this which grew their relationship even more apart (those who watched it would know). And omg I remember the look on Weiying's face when his brother continued doubting him and not trusting him and hurting him 😭😭😭💔💔💔💔 Sheesh, this is like the same from Qiushui to Yiren 😭😭😭😭 Both brothers really tested my patience so hard hdksjsksks (well Yiren is testing me rn but I'll prob never forgive him... hopefully I'm wrong about that tho...)
Anyways, it's like going through The Untamed again but not completely but yeah Qiushui reminds me of Weiying, in a way that the whole world betrays him, only having a few trustworthy and loyal friends AND SISTER by his side. Yk Tang Rou is the most loyal one to me of Qiushui's still even tho he is not physically there so the writers killing him off still makes me disappointed. I am only hoping a reset where Qiushui can change his fate for a happy ending of the Shenzhou Sworn Brotherhood 😭 It just feels VERY empty without him! The squad doesn't feel the same after he left us 😢💔💔
I lowkey hope Qiushui turns kinda evil in a way like Weiying does after being bashed and hated on a lot by a lot of people... Weiying doing this is so understandable and I was so happy he stood up for himself even if it meant that way. Now I am waiting for the moment Qiushui finally does this cuz he is way too nice. Not even saying any bad thing to his brothers like whatttt???? He needs to really give all those people back (no even more than twice as much) what they gave him. I need to see this side more 😭😭😭😭 I lowkey hope Li Chenzhou becomes like Lan Zhan and turns to his side and becomes his most loyal companion (or even soulmate) 😭😭🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I am so confused. How is Cheng Yi catching so much poop for this drama? From where and why does the hate come…
Same 😭 His acting is so good here. He never disappoints me. Even his crying scenes are so good. Not sure how people can't really feel it but I guess it's a matter if opinion. His scenes make me cry a lot already 😭
This is exactly what I was thinking, too. I honestly kinda ship him and QiuShui. When QiuShui was hurt by Tang…
Glad I'm not the only one. I lowkey know I'd be shipping them hard if he was still alive but oh well 😭😭😭 they better bring him back during a reset after causing me to cry a lot!!! 😭😭🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Honestly, if Tang Rou hadn't died so early, I think him and Qiushui would have been my favorite ship in this drama. I feel like no one protects and loves Qiushui as much as he does :( If he was still alive, he'd be standing up for his sworn brother no matter what. I can feel it. Not many people probably thought about it, but when I rewatched this scene again just to upload it (link below), I noticed how Tang Rou only looked at Qiushui during his VERY final moments (while holding onto his hand so tightly bc he seems so scared of letting it go and leaving him). That isn't to say the others don't mean a lot to him, but if you watched Fangs of Fortune, you might understand what I mean. That the one you look at last is the person most precious to you in your heart (at least that's how I perceive it bc they look so scared of dying as they do). The one you would be willing to do anything for. I still cry over Tang Rou. Whenever Qiushui mentions him, it makes me cry. Just the mention of his name makes me cry. And the fact that Qiushui wants to fulfill Tang Rou's last wishes no matter what? The way he tries to protect his sister bc he doesn't want to disappoint his brother Rou? Ahhh, this is just... idk why I'm crying just writing this. Why can't we just get Tang Rou back like plz I need a reset so that he comes back alive and is there to stand up for and protect our Qiushui who is suffering so hard rn 😭😭😢💔💔 I just know seeing this would really break Tang Rou's heart to the point that I feel like he wouldn't want to leave him bc he'd be so worried about him 😭😭😭
Right??? When my sister told me this, I was like, "Omg so trueee!!!!" Even both the sisters are the only…
Woahhhh omggg. Why does this make me so happy 😭😭😭 Gosh I am gonna tear up bc of this!!! Just hearing it makes me so emotional and makes me ship them even more 😭 Maybe LCZ will really become his most loyal friend, maybe they will even become soulmates 😭🥹 Lol yes, I never expected shipping someone with himself would become a thing that I support but I do if they really have chemistry and I love that 😂
Right??? When my sister told me this, I was like, "Omg so trueee!!!!" Even both the sisters are the only…
Omg yessss!!!! So true. I hope this happens 😭 I really need this ahhhh 🥹🥹 Makes me wanna rewatch The Untamed next month during Weiying and Xiao Zhan month jsksksksk actually I told myself I'd watch this every year on October. So maybe it's really calling me to 😅
Right??? When my sister told me this, I was like, "Omg so trueee!!!!" Even both the sisters are the only…
Yeah I saw a clip where it looked like he was suffering and it felt like he was an actual human, not a villain. I hope these two will side with each other. If they do, I am gonna be so happy. And if they do, I won't be surprised if I kinda ship them lol (like Ding Yuxi in Love in Pavilion if you watched it) 😅 But wow, sacrificing himself for Qiushui? Gosh, I think I'd cry if that moment comes 😭 I hope it does!
Right??? When my sister told me this, I was like, "Omg so trueee!!!!" Even both the sisters are the only…
Eh well... he is a villain but Lan Zhan is not. I wouldn't say he relates to Lan Zhan bc of this since Lan Zhan does side with him (eventually). I'd love to see more of Li Chenzhou tho. I hope they show him more! 🥲 But maybe if we saw LCZ more... I wonder if I'll get reminded of Lan Zhan. I really wanna see what kind of villain he is and why he becomes one. I wanna see his backstory 😭 We just haven't seen much of him oof
