Been waiting for this ever since the first trailer came out. I love both actors. Watched Bai Lu in TTEOTM and Ao Rui Peng in TBOY and loved them both in there. I remember being so excited to watch these two as a couple. After watching new trailers, teasers, and even some clips they revealed of the drama, it got me even more excited. From the clips alone, Bai Shuo and Fan Yue got me smiling already, why are they so cuteeee??? 😭🥹 And why is everything so pretty??? 😭 I really feel like it's gonna be one of my top fav dramas EVER! Super hyped for this!!!!! 🥹

ngl same, I cried buckets in this scene (the saddest scene and death scene) 😭 And I feel like maybe it's cuz the group of friends witnessed his death (which was a sacrifice to save his Bai Jiu) so it made it even sadder 😭 And the way he cried like that???? It was DEPRESSING!!!!!! He really didn't want to die and wanted to stay with his friends MY HEART BREAKS AND I CRY! Man, I was scrolling through my tweets of Ying Lei and came across this scene just now and I couldn't help but cry and I wasn't even really watching it 😭

When I learnt that you loved Bai Jiu X Ying Lei duo the most, I was scared for you once you watch what happens to them my gosh, too sad! Ying Lei's death as he watches his Bai Jiu for one last time after saving him like STOPPPP 😭😭😭😭 And then Bai Jiu coming back after Ying Lei is gone OOF (I was really hoping so bad to see this duo again but it did not happen 💔💔) and crying for Ying Lei 😭😭😭😭

Looking at your new replies and ahhhh I'm so happy you're enjoying the drama now! 🥹😭 I would often see your comments on how it was very hard for you to like it but I am so glad you pushed through and decided to not give up on it. I really don't like it when people say "if you still don't like it to 'THIS' episode (before maybe like ep.15), then you're probably not going to like it in the later episodes" when the vibe changes very drastically from the first half to the second half. I've seen a lot of ppl like you who couldn’t enjoy it at first but in later episodes, they fall in love with it! I heard from my sister (CloudLitSoul) that you like bromance and if I knew that, I would've presuaded you a lot lol but I am happy my sister got you to keep watching it like yessss the bromance hits so hard in this drama that the romance feels way too forced and sudden (what even happened between WX and ZYZ for them to actually love each other... makes no sense bc the way they acted towards each other didn’t feel like love to me at all...) For Yichen and Yuanzhou, their relationship developed so well. It started off with Yichen having grudges against him, Yuanzhou teasing him a lot (Yichen getting annoyed but letting it happen lol), to Yichen starting to tease him as well (bc of ZYZ LOL), then Yichen starting to see a new side of him slowly as he gets to know him more, starting to understand him, but also... let him "live" so that he can make up for what he did (bc ofc you can't just say it didn't happen and to just let it go without making up for it (which Yuanzhou describes him as a dignified gentleman) to the blood moon scene where he learns it even more (inflicting himself bc of feeling guilty 😭💔). You can feel Yichen's feelings towards him develop slowly yet soooo real. Yuanzhou once trusted someone so much but realized he didn’t understand him enough (Li Lun not understanding Yuanzhou enough either (yes such a tragic story between them)) but then finds Yichen who he can wholeheartedly trust now. He just wanted Li Lun to understand him but he couldn't do that. After finding Yichen, who now understands him, what he felt for Li Lun is now what he feels towards Yichen now. Yeah I heard you're on Ep.23 now (I'm on Ep.22 on my rewatch and I'm loving it even more the 2nd time around. I rarely rewatch dramas so I'm surprised I decided to rewatch this only like 1 month after I finished it 😭 which goes to show how much I loooveeee this drama. Literally in this rabbit hole that I can't get out of lol). Get ready your tissues cuz you're gonna be crying a lot in the next episodes to come 🤧😭😩

Oh and yes, Bai Jiu and Ying Lei are so cuteeeee!!!!! I love them so much. Do you guys recommend me to watch this or The Long Ballad first? I was planning to watch TLB first before TSOPG aired but didn't have time to. Hello! I finished the drama 3 weeks ago and still not over it. I decided to cover Zhuo Yichen's theme song (Do Not Yearn or Make Noise) for Tian Jiarui's birthday because we share the same bday :) I actually didn't have a lot of time practicing this song because I was aiming to post it on my and Jiarui's birthday (ended up posting it 2 days late unfortunately) so there may be some words I pronounced wrong (because I am not fluent in Chinese) but I hope you guys can give it a listen! I plan to cover a lot of other songs in the drama as well once school finishes up this week which I will try posting here once I'm finished with them 😊
