Who is the little boy who lives with the General?

I’m really struggling with this one. At episode 5 and nothing about the FL is likable or endearing. Also, I keep falling asleep during the episodes. But, the comments keep saying it’s good, so I press on.

What a downer! So twisted. I feel terrible after every episode. Each character is so full of evil schemes. 😞 I loathe the father the most though. I want to be glad that the concubine’s schemes finally came full circle and bit her in the a$$, but I can’t really because of dad, that vile creature. SMH

Yes, there’s a slight triangle trying to mess with the leads’ peace. But, yes, start it. It’s a warm, quality drama, It has a quaint, country, family vibe.

Something I do regularly as well. Such a great drama.🎭

Love me some Xie Wei! He was crazy. 😜 And I don’t mean mentally ill. I mean crazy crazy. He would have been crazy even without his mental trauma. Dude had me scared as hell and ROFL at the same time, e.g., when he took his candy back from that girl 🤣. Super intelligent. A genius strategist. Sexy with those eyes and that jawline. He screams red flag and green flag equally loudly.

It starts off bad, but is quite good by the end.

I feel like the dad’s acting is bad. He’s too extra with it. Too exaggerated at times.

The acting was kinda cringe 😬 in ep 18, in my opinion. The twists and turns of the plot are interesting, but it’s also starting to feel rather insane too.

Her looks are fine. She’s cute. I meant to say “petty” earlier . She is petty, but it’s also kind of realistic to be insecure about the relationship. I just dislike her sulking without explaining the reasons. But, I would probably act the same way if I am being honest.

ML is too good to be true. So unrealistic. 😂. I’m glad he has her though. She’s a good support to him. He needs her.

Finished ep 1. I don’t like the negative energy of the characters. Snarkiness, bickering, mean-girling, ego-tripping. Hanging in there for Daddi Tang though.
