Mad respect for the college dorm mate who had the crush on Xiao Han. She was certainly going for it and shooting her shot, wasn’t she! It was a fool’s errand, of course. But, man, I’d like to borrow even 1/10 of her confidence level. She should’ve quit, though, when it was clear He Ran and Xiao Han had a relationship and some unfinished business. You’ll get yourself hurt, girl. He Ran don’t play that.
I'm trying hard to hold out for the last episode to air tomorrow before watching the last 4 episodes.
Wow, you’re disciplined. Willpower! Studies show that people who are good at practicing delayed gratification (especially as kids) are the ones who generally end up being more successful in life down the line.
Han Yu’s being in the dark til even the 11th hour had me chuckling. When Yuanqi said to him regarding Xiao Han, “You’ve met, yet you don’t know who that is”—I was SMH laughing. Poor, sweet, innocent, oblivious, living-in-his-own-rose-colored-world, can’t-put-two-and-two-together doof.
Please recommend me some good drama of Jerry yan. I think I’m fallin for him 🤧
Check out the Recommended section above. He was good in “Loving, Never Forgetting,” but his character was quite cold and the FL character was quite ignorant. Addictive drama though, hot slow burn chemistry.
He called her first after she went to xijing and it was in march called her again in June those are three months…
I got the impression he had called her while she was still in the hospital. Months hadn’t passed yet. He knew she was sick, had even taken her to hospital once, then she disappears. If he loved her, wouldn’t he have gone looking her, worried something bad had happened? Wouldn’t he say, “I don’t understand what’s going on, but it must be serious for you to act this way. I love you and I’m here for you no matter what. I’ll give you some space if you need it, but talk to me as soon as possible. I’m worried about you.”
She hasn’t replied to him in months and the first time she answered the phone, she doesn’t even say anything.…

Very true. She’s doing a great job with the role, just a bit lacking in this respect.
I’ve seen the deleted scenes. She’s not a good kisser yet. Her technique needs some improvement. She remained conservative, as if not willing to completely give into the moment, even for the sake of the scene. There seemed to be a line she didn’t want to cross. Very charming and created great chemistry nonetheless.
Xu ruo han thanks for this drama as your fan i got to see beautiful emotional dramas so far your hard work really…
She’s doing great. She’s the warmth and the heart of the drama. If she didn’t have such good chemistry with the ML, it wouldn’t be as popular as it is. His drama with Shen Yue didn’t do this well. No shade to Shen Yue. But, the popularity of The Forbidden Flower has a lot to do with Xu Rhohan’s ability and charm.
