Don’t come for me, but I’m not sure about Wang An Yu in a historical drama. I loooove him in modern dramas and he’s the king of chemistry (well one of the kings of chemistry), but I’m not so sure about historical, serious drama. I didn’t care for that xianxia drama he did with Zhao Lusi.
I was expecting her back story to be about a secret romance/them trying to hide they're lesbians or something,…
They were just good friends who supported each other through thick and thin. Their “relationship” was simply a strong friendship.
However, given the storyline with Miji’s ex, it would seem the writer/director is pushing some sort of agenda. The writer therefore seemed to subtly imply that fake Rosa might’ve had more-than-friends feelings; but, from my perspective, these women were just good friends who consistently supported each other when they had no one else in a desperate situation.
“There exists a friend sticking closer than a brother.”
