I shouldn't have watched the trailer for episode 25 because my loathing for Ren Susu just exploded. Between her and Li Boze... they both can suck it!

While I get her, she irritates me to no end with the way she's making decisions for Qingyi. He is a grown man and can make his own decisions. Her revenge would probably be more successful with him helping out, since he generally has much better plans than she or her merry band ever did. I do understand her not wanting to involve him, but as a grown adult, he can also choose to help or not.

That is my description for the FL in "Love For You" as well. 😂

After episode 20, I just want to toss everyone in Qingyi's life in the dumpster! His egg donor and sister need to go first (I was rather gleeful when he pointed the gun at her). His brother is a whole level of despicable. Watches his egg donor beat him once again, does the bare minimum to assist, and forces the woman he loves to marry him and potentially die to get out of Qingyi's life. With family like that, who needs enemies?! Then we have Ren Susu, who makes terrible choices that only hurt him repeatedly. There could be other ways for her to get her revenge, but she'll take the most hurtful to him.

If I were Qingyi, I would be done with others' protection and making decisions for me, and let them all burn.

Highly doubtful, because if there is a better decision that could be made, she will make the worst one.

It was the first time I remember seeing it, but I think I may rewatch episodes and keep my eyes peeled.

Qingyu continues to fall lower. Does he even like Qingyi at this point? I can barely wait for tomorrow's episodes to see where this wild ride is going.

Not for that time. There have been several points in time when the police force has been so corrupt that you can literally commit crimes in front of them, and as long as they get their cut, they won't do anything.

Note: I am talking about police forces in general, not a specific force.

As Qingyi alluded to, it is because of the deals they have regarding munitions and whatnot for their army. Qingyu is apparently perfectly fine ignoring the evils that the Huo family is doing for some sweet deals for the family. Clearly, Qingyi is not the same in that regard.

Maybe not so much trust in his investigations, but he just doesn't care. He found out someone hurt his brother, so he is hurting her back. Honestly, it took me aback slightly when he just went for the wrist.

No, that's not what she is saying. This is a series to sit back and enjoy the bumpy ride and the emotional connection. If you are looking for something that is technically better (such as a more mainstream filming style), then this may not be for you, and that is fine. I, for one, am not exactly here for the technical aspects of the show, but rather the story has sucked me in and the emotional rollercoaster I experience daily.
