The rating is rather accurate, IMO. It is an okay show. Light and fun to watch. It is, however, dated (rightfully so since it was filmed three years ago). Not every show has to be the best thing ever. I like it for what it is and enjoy it.

Because then there wouldn't be any artificial angst, and the story wouldn't be stretched out longer than it needs to be.

I love their banter! It is my joy at the end of the workday. I also don't get the low rating. It is genuinely a fun/engaging light show. I hope the rating doesn't deter people from watching.

First of all, love the "Prince Pathetic" moniker. 😂 Secondly, also can't wait for them to work together. I really wish she would start opening up to him.

Zhang Haiqi is like the worst mentor ever. Not a fan of some of the plot devices right now, but hopefully there will be an improvement. I don't know how people can say this is boring, though... it is the direct opposite of that.

This here. I was thinking the same... how does one bring up that your own family is the cause of his family's trauma? I am honestly a bit afraid of when he finds out. But I get why she hasn't said anything yet. My hope is they can work through it all and scheme together.

It really tests the efficacy of my blood pressure medication.

They haven't mentioned anything, but from Ye LI's reaction when her mother is brought up, I think this may be the case in the drama (with her mom), but I guess we will find out later.

Finally able to see the last episode and just finished. What a ride! I haven't enjoyed a drama like this in a while. The fighting scenes were just a thing to behold! I also really enjoyed the friendships between the main characters. I hope people ignore this lower rating and give it a whirl, especially if you like action and some good friends solving mysteries.

They are no longer restricted to 40 episodes. That requirement has been removed.

I never thought I would be so emotional over the making of ink, but here we are. This was such a beautiful series, and I will definitely give it a rewatch.

I have been entertained thus far. The schemes are scheming, and the chemistry is chemistrying. This is a shorter series (24 episodes), so if you have other things you want to watch, you could wait until this is done. I have a feeling I will want to rewatch and binge once it is done.

She was amazing in The Glory, and when I found out she was in this, that really set it in stone that I should watch. I can't wait to see her vengeance!

I think it has more to do with the fact that she was the only person who stood up for/saved him. For someone who has been on his own his whole life, that is not something that comes easy.

I think they did cast him properly. He is believable in the action, and the chemistry is chemistrying between the FL. Like... no notes from me!
