I personally can't wait for episode 27. I think we are going to need a vat of popcorn for that show and all the tea that Qingyi is going to serve. 🍵

Li Boze is a special level of dim and oblivious. He deserved that punch.

In the preview, when she says he isn't good enough to be the father, I'm like, girl, have you looked in the mirror lately? We finally saw his comeback, which made me snort. I think episode 27 is going to be FUN!

Yep, this is his master plan to keep them apart. However, Qingyi clearly has other plans.

I swear in one scene his mask slipped and part of the tattoo was visible. He moved lighting fast to cover it.

The rating for this show is meaningless since there have been people review bombing and elevating the entire time. I don't know why people are so dependent upon a manufactured number to indicate whether they should watch a drama. You should be able to start watching it and see if it is for you. For me, this drama is entertaining, and I enjoy it a lot. I know it is not what a lot of people like, but I really have days where I want to watch messy melodrama filled with slaps and gunplay. 😂

I'm seriously on the fence with Li Boze. He seems like the dimmest, slowest person, but I think I am leaning more towards the idea that he has some sort of sinister plan. Otherwise, wow, that boy is DIM.

Yeah, I'm not sure if they are baiting us with these previews and it will pan out differently, or if I'm just going to be in a state of rage next week when we get more episodes. 😆

If you like Republican-era dramas or melodrama, I would recommend it. I personally think the rating is low here, and I'm enjoying it.

I think this is taking place during the mid-to-late 1930s. It is more than likely the Japanese they are fighting. I am also watching another Republican-era drama right now, Silent Tides (https://mydramalist.com/777175-once-upon-a-time-in-macao), and it is predominantly about WWII and how the Japanese took over Hong Kong and Macau. It is so good and very interesting from an historical perspective. I would recommend it if you are interested in learning more about that time period.

I'm def going to rewatch once it is done. I have a feeling I will feel a bit differently about some things when I get to binge vs. being slowly tortured each day. 🤭

This is what is getting to me right now. I really feel for this kid. There is also something she says to Qingyi in the episode 26 trailer that sent me (about why she was keeping the son away from him). 😡

I try to be understanding about Ren Susu, but she is crossing a line. You don't keep a child from its parent and that child has a right to know who his father is. Then, in the preview for episode 26, she has the audacity to say to Qingyi that he wouldn't be a good father because of his family. I can't with her and her games. Then we have brother of the year and dimmest cop on the payroll who actively keeps the knowledge his brother has a son for over 6 years and plays a role in the kid's life. Like... keep on twisting that knife in Qingyi's heart, y'all. I'm wagering the wedding scene is to incite Susu... we'll see how that pans out.

I shouldn't have watched the trailer for episode 25 because my loathing for Ren Susu just exploded. Between her and Li Boze... they both can suck it!

While I get her, she irritates me to no end with the way she's making decisions for Qingyi. He is a grown man and can make his own decisions. Her revenge would probably be more successful with him helping out, since he generally has much better plans than she or her merry band ever did. I do understand her not wanting to involve him, but as a grown adult, he can also choose to help or not.

That is my description for the FL in "Love For You" as well. 😂

After episode 20, I just want to toss everyone in Qingyi's life in the dumpster! His egg donor and sister need to go first (I was rather gleeful when he pointed the gun at her). His brother is a whole level of despicable. Watches his egg donor beat him once again, does the bare minimum to assist, and forces the woman he loves to marry him and potentially die to get out of Qingyi's life. With family like that, who needs enemies?! Then we have Ren Susu, who makes terrible choices that only hurt him repeatedly. There could be other ways for her to get her revenge, but she'll take the most hurtful to him.

If I were Qingyi, I would be done with others' protection and making decisions for me, and let them all burn.
