F*ck. Everything is falling apart for them. Half of the hostages escaped, Oslo died, Berlin is going crazy, Tokyo was thrown out by him and in the hands of the police now, and the professor has no connection with them at all.
I think the traitor if there is one is Nairobi. She was a con artist and only cares for the money here. She seems like the one that stands out the most. Maybe a huge twist and it's the FL.
My joy of the team out smarting the police was short lived. Why do you have to ruin my mood there at the end.
Onto season 2, I hope we get a bit of backstory for Nairobi and Helsinki and Oslo. I really like the group and hope they succeed. Maybe years late they could show them reuniting hanging out as buddies because of this event.
I like to comment now why did the professor choose to have his secret undercover room so easily to access in his house. The negotiator lady was easily gonna open the door to find out.
I kind of like having Berlin in charge because they wouldn't be in a scenario where someone is tricked by the hostages and they don't fear them. A worse scenario is the hostages overtakes your weapon/threat because you were foolish.
Well that's disappointing that the director didn't die from the gunshot and they decided to save him. Why can't they let that annoying character die and blame it on the police who is at fault. I really wished the team was all good on terms and we see more their bond during the heist like how it was when they prepared for it. They locked away Berlin for now.
It was a clever strategy of switching the masks to ruin the police plans. But now one of them was left behind and has a device to fit in. They might be exposed if they all wear the new mask and he doesn't have it.
That was satisfying watching the snipers shoot and probably kill the director. Good riddance to that character. Oh how screwed the negotiator and the rest are in now knowing they shot and killed a hostage. Are they gonna lie to the media that the director was a suspect?

The idea I had in mind for the team to rescue Denver and Moscow was them bringing out hostages to threaten to shoot them if they tried to kill Denver and Moscow. But Berlin's idea is a bit better so they don't know how many are the real suspects. They sure know which guns are the fake ones to give to the hostages.
My guess was a bit right. They've already disobeying the professor's order of not killing even if the writers trick into that ending that she wasn't shot and killed. The professor had to seen this outcome coming that if he wasn't present with them, they might as well disobey him at some point and he can't do anything to stop them.
I like the first episode. Here are my thoughts and questions going forward. I wonder what they will do to keep the drama engaging instead of feeling draggy because of the hostage situation being the main plot. I just have bad memories of watching Snowdrop when the hostage situation took over the plot of the show and it just dragged along with questionable writing for some characters. I hope this one keeps me more hooked.
That's interesting to see that their leader the professor doesn't partake in the hostage/heist inside the building. I guess he's ok with trusting them to follow his plan because there's always a risk someone disobeys and ruins the whole plan.

Another thing I like was that guest character of the woman who started working at the supermarket the ML was at. I honestly thought she was gonna be a permanent character going forward and connect with the ML because of how quite similar their paths were.

Does anyone wish Lee Tang had turned himself in owning up that he did all those murders. Nan Gam even said if he chose to run away living somewhere far, Lee Tang would eventually be caught even not by him. They hinted at the end that he started to kill these bad people again because of his supernatural ability, but without Roh Bin wouldn't he be lacking a huge support to his killings. Is his supernatural ability just that he's lucky he runs into criminals before not knowing?
I think Roh Bin's second partner was the father of the daughter who killed herself after being sa from the 2 teenager boys. That guy died shortly after telling Lee Tang

I wished we got more action scenes from Son Suk Ku's character. I loved the look for his character in this drama.
