I don’t know in which episode you are, but he really is not toxic, he never forces her to do anything against her will, he never crosses her boundaries. A couple of scenes show that, and yeah he seems rough, he doesn’t express himself well, but he rly is whipped when it comes to Hee ju

They better not, it’s not nice for the audience 😭 I don’t think that trick will have the same effect on all dramas, this one is really good for one and has that mystery part (and ofc the romance) that keeps the audience guessing and discussing it

Agreed!! It makes the drama so much more enjoyable than it already is! Another thing, nothing major rly, is in the call after Hee Ju knows about her sister being back in Seoul and she tells him that he can go and marry In a as originally intended, you can hear in his voice how mad he is on the phone when he replies to this, but seconds later when he’s in the apartment and talks to Hee Ju his tone softens so much. Like that quick shift in tone was so well made, YYS is such a great actor! That’s how you show love on screen, so subtle and endearing 🤧😭
