And yeah it feels like nothing happened much in the story and yet it did, it’s so weird, but it’s well done. On my first watch because everything was new it felt like so much was happening, in my second rewatch, I felt like there wasn’t much happening.
These episodes are still foundational to the plot maybe? Every scene is packed with information and thankfully all the scenes with our leads are packed with hot tension, can’t wait to see how the story will unfold!

Yess, about that scene when she was crying he told her she looks ugly with such tenderness, like you ain’t fooling anyone sir, we know what you meant when you said those words. 😂 When the anchor girl was crying too, he called her wet dumpling, I think it’s just his way of awkwardly comforting crying women.
After he called hee ju ugly, she stopped crying for a little bit, he gave her his handkerchief and told her to continue crying if she wanted to. She cried so hard without holding back after he said that. It was rly a cute scene despite the situation. His actions always contradict his harsh words haha

He is definitely not only a tsundere then, he is a very layered character yes you’re right. He’s very calculated in everything he does. He has a soft caring side to him even if his approach is rough. By tsundere I meant that he’s a bit rough around the edges and super soft inside when it comes hee ju. (I may not know the real definition of tsundere 😂)

Your whole speculation behind the marriage and him wanting to terminate it after the election seems very plausible. It makes a lot of sense actually. I just wonder, if he’s paving his own route, why not bring her with him if he loves her? Like what is preventing him from loving her and taking her with him? The second thing is, if his plan was to help his father in his campaign and then leave everything including hee ju by divorcing her, why did he say in the latest episode that he won’t assist and help in the campaign (and if he doesn’t want to no one can force him implied)?
Let’s say his plan since the start of the marriage was to divorce her at a set time for whatever reason. It makes sense for him to not want to attempt having a relationship with her, why would he initiate something that has no future? but if he developed feelings later what, again, is preventing him from courting her? Does he not want to cross her boundaries, Is it just him sticking to his plan or it’s something as simple as him being scared to love and be loved?

My big plan theory is actually more in the lines of him wanting to leave the family and having something to hold against them. hee ju in this case has more of a diplomatic role lol and this marriage is his indirect way of protecting her.

Yes the scene of him knowing hee ju obssessively studying him was one of the best. His face was so expressive, he was so happy his usual poker face couldn’t be maintained 😂

There’s a theory that he didn’t plan on keeping the marriage contract for long, and didn’t want to have any sort of relationship with her.
