The new teaser looks so good and I've noticed that the name on the urn was Kim Danhee. Myeonghee being the mistress makes this way more interesting to me because originally I thought she was a whistleblower.
Not to mention the teaser quality is giving weekend drama. I'm loving how this and A Graceful Liar are getting a little experimental with their cinematography

They get a somewhat happy ending but it means they have to leave Korea? Like maybe Sehoon decides to move abroad because outside of SK no one will give a shit that he's not actually the son of Kunhyang and it'll allow Youngchae to get away from Nansook
Much to the surprise of nobody Sehoon fails at killing Taeseok BUT it comes with the added cost of Jungwon becoming Taeseok's favorite child. (ngl I loved it when Jeongwon was like "this is an opportunity")
Sehoon gets kicked out of both the Jin and Gong households, and per Grandma Hong, "Youngchae and Sehoon will be prosperous when they are together alone." (This is definitely foreshadowing I can feel it), and Jeongwon and Nansuk know that Youngchae is pregnant. Youngchae also has a little bit of a mental breakdown in this episode, triggered by the words "fashion show".
btw I can't stand manager hwang 💀 it's okay to watch and be complicit with Taeseok's evil acts which lead to the death of OG Jungwon die but putting laxatives in a drink is where we draw the line? come on now 😭
Tomorrow: Sehoon takes another L - at minimum, he is losing his title. Also, Jin Jungwon is born.
you know I for one will be very surprised if Sehoon actually kills Taeseok tomorrow. Will he finally succeed at committing an evil deed? Probably not but we will see~!
I love how neurotic Hyebin is lol but I like how they really get into her psyche (so the "rich 2FL being jealous of the poor orphan FL" trope has some weight here). don't really care about jeongim (yet) or the MLs tbh the most interesting storyline rn is whatever is happening with the chaebol family + the affair. mooyeol has potential to become a crazy villain as well lol

As for Youngchae it's a little late in the game for her to discover she's pregnant so I seriously doubt she'll carry that baby to term. I feel like this is probably going to set her up for some kind of redemption which is triggered by her losing her baby. Or maybe it's a phantom pregnancy brought on by the psychological stress 👀
Re: the comedic relief in this drama actually being funny. I still can't stand Mihyang or her stalker with a crush BUT Manager Gu is worth his weight in gold 🤣 he's actually become one of my favorite characters

Alternative title for today's episode: Youngchae and Sehoon take an L. They both lost their connection to Kunhyang. Youngchae for plagiarizing and Sehoon because he got played by Nansook for the 500th time.
I'm not sure how I feel about Youngchae's "punishment" being selective amnesia... (She remembers Sehoon but not Semi?) Or where the screenwriter is going to go with this... I guess her end will be in a mental hospital? I honestly thought (and I still hope) she loses more. At least she got fired. Also I will say I enjoy Lee Hyona's "psycho acting" (for a lack of a better term), and that whatever is going on with Youngchae has finally made her somewhat interesting?
I said it yesterday but the fashion show was very underwhelming. The reveal was so boring it hurts 😭 and wtf was Jeongwon saying "it's all my fault that you're like this" no one put a gun to Youngchae's head and told her to basically fabricate a design career 💀 like don't blame yourself for her inferiority complex....
I found the most entertaining part of this storyline to be Haneul ripping into Youngchae and reminding her that he won't be bending the investigation for her.
As for Sehoon ... still struggling, still trying, still failing... I would hope that today's episode means their chapter has been closed but I'm sure one of them (Sehoon or Youngchae, maybe even both of them) will do some last-ditch crazy shit that will most likely end in a death and imprisonment.
Jeongwon being Hyera's weapon is way more interesting and I'm glad the plan is finally being put into place after just talking about it lol

I am a little bit familiar with nam sangji due to my attempts watching KBS1 daily dramas (key word, attempt, I've never finished a KBS1 drama and you already know I'm a KBS2 daily supremacist lol)
Myunghee and Danhee's story interests me too. I especially want to know the story behind Myeonghee's death. I feel like Danhee and Jinju are going to be THEE revenge duo whenever they do link up with their fake identities (you know I can't wait for that lol)

Junkyung having a crush on Jihoon is ... interesting... they're first cousins? By marriage, yes but it's still weird to see lol
Now I'm starting to realize why I dropped it the first time. This "Jihoon is the son of Chairman Han's first love" storyline is super boring to me and kind of frustrating to watch. The worst storyline so far tbh
Dushim and Chairman Han deserve all the angst in the world for sneaking around. I'm not sure why Chairman Han can't just tell Myeonghee the truth but if kdrama characters engaged in healthy communication it wouldn't be a daily drama now would it. Now Seoju is about to misunderstand Eundong lmaooo
And speaking of Seoju I don't understand the obsession with Taein? Like yes he's probably the most attractive male lead I've seen in a daily (don't be fooled tho I'm on Team Jihoon) but he has shown zero affection towards her over the course of the drama. I'd go as far as to say he treats her like shit 😭
