Heeyyyyyyy!! I'm currently watching Blood River and I'm loving it!! Thanks for recommending it!

We can all have different opinions for the same drama. We can enjoy and dislike it at the same time. There aren't many new dramas out atm so here we are. I can definitely say though that this isn't the same vibe as the old kdramas. Old kdramas were more character building and romance building so there was a lot more angst. That wasn't always good pacing either so that's why they shortened dramas. Ppl thought there was just too much unnecessary fillers or slow pacing with old kdramas. One a side note, there are a lot of intense BWS and IU fans who don't want any criticism but I think that's the whole point of the comment section. To read and respect others' opinions. Sometimes ppl's different viewpoints can change your perspective or you can relate. I really like BWS and IU as actors and I'm not criticizing them at all but something with the writing or directing of this drama as a whole is lacking for me. There's just something missing. That's just my viewpoint.

I kind of feel the same way. It's not as impactful as I was expecting. There's definitely something missing or lacking. Maybe it's the cutesy factor especially with the FL and with the young majesty? Or maybe I just expected expected the main leads' characters to be more rebellious? Hui Ju's character is more cute than ambitious. Maybe I expected a more ruthlessness or a more hard-core ambitious vibe from her?

I know. Did they really need to draw up an actual contract too? I wonder how it was leaked? Did someone find those scrap pieces of paper they were rewriting on? Such an outdated cliché considering it's supposed to be a "modern day" monarchy.

When he was walking in to see the PM, I was like, "What's with the Jumanji drums?" 😂

It's so inappropriate for ppl to give out information to someone she rejected. She should've the editor that she rejected him. She's friend with the editor's wife so she should've told them to make her boundaries clear. So annoying.

Am I the only one who doesn't understand why she even likes SR personality wise? I mean she saw him without his glasses and all of sudden she likes him. I don't really like his personality but that's just me.

They've said before that it's a HE.

I really hope she gets her memories back. On a side note, I can't wait for the next two episodes!

He is taking revenge for the guy she killed in front of the Liang house, the guy who was blocking the door, Mr. Gui from the Qinghong Sect .(EP4). The original spellcaster is He Wabu from the same sect. You will see him introduced near the end of EP6 talking with the Tigress lady.

This. Like she has no recollection of the damage she caused and enemies she made now. She was legit regretful too. The audacity to erase her memories and then to say, " We have to kill the person who put the Utterance Spell on her.". Whatevs man. Give her her memories back then.

I haven't heard of Blood River? Is it worth a watch?

I binged it but honestly I don't think it's worth the time. I'll never get those hours back! You're not gonna miss anything. She just gets together with the ML who is a red flag IMO.

I know. Totally agree. He was such a red flag and honestly, have no idea why she didn't end up with Zhang Zhe. Like, that's the whole point of changing the past. So weird.

She couldn't back out with a reverse camera? What kind of BS is this making women look bad? I hate scenes like that making women look incapable especially when it comes to driving.

I'm so mad. I watched the whole thing and realized that I did watch it but I wasn't a fan of the FL's choice. Like the ML was such a red flag!! Lol! Omg, i cannot believe I just rewatched this! @Dramas4me @Cbenedetti

I can't remember how much I've watched last time but right now I'm on EP 8 and I remember parts of it so I will have to figure which episode later is totally new to me!
