I saw an interesting viewpoint on tiktok how people from different countries may view the ep10 massacre differently, as a US viewer, people (including myself) may be more traumatized and triggered due to these events happening quite frequently in real life, compared to viewers from Korea/Asia, where these events do not occur, and thus are able to easier compartmentalize what happened as simply not based in reality or as fantasy

well said, regarding what happened w wonbin, apparently the actor said he was supposed to have a scene showing him getting injured and returning to base camp (which still doesn’t really make sense imo bc he would never leave the kids)

It didnt have to be a "fairytale ending" the writers could have stuck with the original ending in the webtoon where youngsoo only kills ilha & jangsoo.

FUCK YOUNGSOO. the plots holes are insane I dont even know what to say... im so so angry, how can the writers be so fucking dumb to let every character have great character development only then to mass kill them all in the finale (which is not even in the webtoon). I dont think Ive ever been more mad in a kdrama ending ever, this is just ridiculous

one of the things duty after school does very well compared to other similar shows (AOUAD or Sweet Home) is the equal character development of all the characters.. I feel like I know a little bit about all of them & have grown attached to them through watching this, some are annoying but at the end of the day, I can't say I dislike any of them really..

ep 8 just made me mad for so many reasons (Aesol opening the door; Hana and Dukjung slacking off and being too trusting of strangers who I still don't trust, and then possibly? Yeongshin sabotaging the radio and rigging the vote too) also I've grown so attached to Class 3-2 and to see Soochul's death (suicide???) hurt bad... im not ready for anymore of them to die

just finished ep 7 and I really made a mistake going on the page and seeing the low rating... now im nervous. anyways I hope lee chunho is still alive. im a little baffled they didnt even mention what happened to wonbin or the three other kids that they rescued, so hopefully all those things will be explained

its so heartwarming to see how close the kids are to each other and are willing to protect one another, as well as wonbin and chunho protecting the kids
