reached ep9, they try too hard to make this drama funny. Only a few times the comedy is good, but many times it's not.
And i got to appreciate some details too.
Since when Da Hae changed her mobile phone? i didnt realize it. Im sure in early episode there are scratches on her screen. And another detail i found it almost related to real word corporate is when power outage happened to her office. One random office worker screamed, like he have done many tasks but didn't save it yet until power blackout.
i'd argue they weren't friends, they just met that one time so to me it's not that big of a deal
1st encounter, he just being a good guy to help her to hospital. For a stranger, i agree that he went too far by drive her to hospital and then drive her home, accompany her watch sunrise then have breakfast.
then he is agree to get himself in Me-Ri's fake marriage for onetime only, to attend official house handover.
he already bothered when he drive Me-Ri home to her temporary shelter. He have help enough and just about to go home before he loss his carkey.
Then he found out the photo. From this on he make first initiative, like proposing a fake wedding photo, and pick Me-Ri's mother then drive her to bus terminal.
After he found out the photo he is also more relaxes to Me-Ri, and having a good time as fake couple in their house.
My point is, he is bit stiff to Me-Ri before he find the photo, and more comfortable with her after he found out, so he is less hesitant to help her. Their past encounter as a kid is a plot device to erase boundaries ASAP when they're adult and meet again as stranger.
both U-Ju have many reason to stay close to Me-Ri.there is second couple too, but not so interisting so far.
so far, there is little screentime of them. But they definetely will be the 2nd couple.
he have hard time at work because of his boss. he expect himself to be a robot to put aside his feeling, manytimes he is cruel and impolite to anyone else. So their first encounter kinda stiff.
both U-Ju have many reason to stay close to Me-Ri.there is second couple too, but not so interisting so far.
Wo-Shik's U-Ju have indebt feeling toward Me-Ri. They have encountered as kid in the past. Wo-Shik's U-Ju feel gratefull with Me-Ri's act in the past, so he decided to help Me-Ri as her fake husband.
as for Me-Ri's ex, we didn't see it yet. Probably he'll know that Me-Ri have won a house in their name, or he have guilty feeling to Me-Ri, or he want to be together again.

Like U-Ju office politic that involving his uncle and brother, U-Ju's relationship with his grandma and probably his parent accident.
From Meri, there is plot involving her ex, and we didnt see her family story uncover yet. There is also her present time problems.
And there is romance story for 2nd couple too.
I would like to erase some plots (like that uncle shady activities) and focus more on leads romance build-up.
Me too expect to see the funny things that going to happen when both leads accidently living together and slowly build their romantical feeling.
is it just me who think that meri might not be the girl who gave wooju the teddy bear? and it will be a misunderstanding…
if this theory is true, probably Wo-Shik's U-Juu already grew feeling to adult Me-Ri anyway.
Because the show never introduce the sister of Me-Ri, It just 12 episodes, with many things going on, i dont think the showrunner have enough time to make the story more complicated with theory u have mentioned.

i think So-Min is the biggest factor here, we can consume so many cliche because of her. Not to belittle Wo-Shik, he is good actor for sure, but not the biggest magnet

This drama is where we came to watch So-Min in her comfort zone, and Woo-Shik. For short, i call this lazy writing.
this drama won't be fun without So Min, no matter how good is Woo-Shik, So-Min is the magnet in this genre.
Ji-Song's coworkers are also bad, they always excluded her. The only person being nice to her is because he like her in romantical way.
